Lunch with Mom, siblings & partners. Wonderful experience. We had bought Mom's b'day cake here, in June, also delicious.

The restaurant is a great location and a great view, today we went to have a quick afternoon bite to eat… Our waitress was very inattentive and was more worried about setting up the function hall for a wedding that evening. today service was not that great, I think customers are more important than setting up an event… Just my opinion
Really enjoyed our dinner at the Waterhouse. Manager Deb was able to accommodate a large group with a weeks notice and our server, Tyler was hilarious and gave great service. Food also excellent. Ragu fell a little short for me but everything else was excellent (crab cakes, lobster wontons, flatbread, and much more).

We were on a Vermont road trip and stayed in Peterborough for one night only. Found Waterhouse using google maps and booked online.
Lovely atmosphere and super friendly staff. We felt really looked after.
The food was a cut above. Super delicious from a well thought out menu. Great wine list!! Couldn’t indulge too much but would have loved to!

This restaurant was beneath my radar for years until someone recommended it. It was mid-afternoon on a lovely summer day, so we opted for outdoor seating along the water. The Waterhouse is an unexpected, elegant farm-to-table experience that does not disappoint. The options are American cuisine, but don't be fooled. The freshness of ingredients creates an entirely new experience for each dish. We ordered lobster wontons, Caesar salad, Waygu flatbread, eggplant roulade, and ended with creme brule and key lime cheesecake: all were beyond excellent and gave new perspectives of flavor through impeccable quality.
We were checked on by the manager several times. She was genuinely invested in our enjoyment, knowledgeable, and excited at our wonder and amazement of what we were tasting.
The service, the ambiance and the food amounted to a culinary adventure in quiet, unassuming Peterborough. Highly recommended to bring yourself as a treat or to bring out-of-town guests to show off what New Hampshire has to offer.

Lovely meal outside along river. Had a salad with blackened chicken; the chicken was perfect. Spouse had beef tacos: excellent and well seasoned but not too spicy. Excellent waitress.

Services was top notch from the moment we walked into the restaurant. We were seated outside in the beautiful patio. We ordered salads and street corn. Appetizers were very good. We also ordered the.Parker House rolls (they were outstanding). I ordered the special which was chicken Stattler. It was very good, probably the best I have ever had. My husband ordered the T-bone steak. He was very disappointed, especially for the cost, and mainly how the restaurant described their beef on the menu to be grass fed local wagu ....The steak he said was very chewy and tough. I was even watching him trying to cut his steak, and it was like watching him saw through wood. I would recommend trying something else other than the T-Bone. Perhaps it was an off night for the steak.

This was my first time to Peterborough. We came into town to attend a play at the Players house. The food was amazing and the river was an added bonus. There is something for everyone there. You will not be disappointed.

I'll start with something positive, food was good. BUT, service was very slow and very poor. Portions were VERY small and prices were ridiculous! All 4 of us walked away hungry even though we all had an appetizer. Especially disappointed in prices for extremely week cocktails that cost $15+. And, $10 lemonades. Really???

The location and atmosphere were very nice. But we had some other issues with our experience. We arrived around 4:40pm and didn’t receive our entrees until a little after 6:00pm (while the table next to us who arrived afterwards received their dinner first). Our daughter wanted a lemonade and the waitress offered a blackberry lemonade. We didn’t realize it was essentially a NA cocktail so each lemonade was $9. There was also a fee for splitting our entree. We spent about $175 on two appetizers, two entrees, 2 lemonades and a coke. The waitress did not apologize for the delay in getting our food. And the side vegetables were not great. You would expect for that price for all the food to be excellent. Both main entrees and appetizers were good. Overall it was a mixed experience.

Paid $25 for just a chicken caesar salad. Waited 45 minutes for a small handful of lettuce and four slices of cold chicken. Not worth my time or the wait.

It was our first time at the Waterhouse Restaurant and I absolutely recommend! The only reason I give it a 4 star rating is the service. Our server was very nice, cocktails and apps came quickly enough. Our dinners were then brought in by a runner. Perfect. But then your server didn’t come to check on us until we were almost halfway through our meal, glasses empty. By then de had decided to stick with our waters. Had he checked on our drinks earlier we would have ordered wine! Not a huge deal, and an easy fix!!
