Everything there was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Their steaks rival that of far higher costs and their burgers and salads are superb. A lot of nights they’re the only place serving dinner. Great service and atmosphere as well!!

Food was good rooms are nice staff is friendly my only thing is the food is alittle expensive and the prices online are not accurate. I also didn’t like how the burgers didn’t come with French fries.

Really wanted to like this place but I have to tell it like it is.... employees were friendly, atmosphere was great, service was great, food....not so much. Ordered the steak tips ($25), comes with 2 sides but they count a cheap salad as a side. For the price, the salad should just come with the entree like anywhere else. I ordered the steak tips medium but received well done wich made them dry and bland. For the price they should have a sauce or gravy of some sort. Steak tips are a New England staple and it's one thing you should take pride in if it's on your menu. Also ordered a 12oz beer but received a 16oz, this I thought wasn't a big deal until the bill came and that beer cost $9.50!! The problem here is they don't have prices on their beer list. So for $38 plus a tip I got a tiny generic salad, overcooked bland steak tips and a $10 beer. In all fairness I will say the mashed potatoes I got with the sad steak tips were good. All in all....way overpriced for what you get.

Went on an ATV trip with my wife and went to the Buck Rub Pub the first night. First of all the trail leading to the pub is not maintained and is almost impassable for SxS. This place advertised so heavily how ATV friendly they are which is just not the case. Asked our waitress how the other trails are in town and she gave a snotty response that she knows nothing about ATVs, doesn't live here, and only works here part time. She acted annoyed when I asked for a trail map and rolled her eyes when I looked at it. The food was way overpriced and some items inedible. The clam chowder was so salty I couldn't finish it, the table next to us had the same complaints. My husband asked for mayo on his steak grinder, the waitress gave a side because it looks like they forgot it, no apologies. It was soggy and no taste. The other reviews are right, the food is low quality, over priced, and it's clear the staff does not want to be there.

We went to the Buck Rub Pub for my birthday. It was our first time there. Very cool atmosphere, but the food was AWFUL! I ordered the 16oz ribeye and my wife steak tips. My steak came out completely raw. My wife’s steak tips well done when she ordered medium. Neither were seasoned. My mashed potatoes and wife’s rice pilaf were iced cold. The bill was $70. Worst meal we have had going out to eat in the last 10 years! We will not be back!
