After booking 2 large cabins , we were treated very poorly in the grill . The blond lady in charge of seating was very rude and argent I’m very disappointed in her and the establishment!!! If there was zero stars I would have , could not accommodate us at all nor did they want to they said we should have booked a year in advance when they said to come in at 8:00 only not not get anything but disrespect

Overall cute place but overpriced for what is offered. Firstly we came at night and couldn’t believe how dark it was in the parking lot, they have lights leading to the entrance but it isn’t enough. The inside was cute and our waitress was polite but the food just wasn’t up to par. Our beer tasted a tiny bit flat and the bread/Butter was terrible. The shrimp cocktail was good but wish there were more shrimp. We had French onion and lobster bisque but the French onion wasn't cooked right and the cheese was just a hard layer on top that to break spilled most the soup annoying. Lastly, the lucky duck I ordered was very good, but their steak was sub-par and tasted more like it just came out of a microwave. Probably won’t come back here but was worth a try.

Walked to dinner from a lakeside cabin. Had the duck and the scallops. Best meal ever. Lovely place!

My daughter and I ate at the Rainbow Grille on 10/26/23 and 10/28/23. Both dinners were outstanding. On the 23rd I had roast duck done perfectly and my daughter had a wedge salad with homemade dressing. Friday evening I had prime rib, the best I have had in my life, my daughter had baked stuffed haddock, her favorite and the best she has ever had. The servers both nights were excellent, attentive, and friendly. Jf we didn't live 3 hours away we would be there every week. The atmospere was friendly and welcoming. If you are ever in Pittsburg NH, do not miss it. Gerry and Cherene, Weare NH

Unfortunately, I was disappointed in our annual visit to the restaurant last night. We were a party of six. Three prime ribs were ordered from our party, two 12oz , one with mushrooms the other with onions, the third was an 8oz, no topping. Food came out and the 8 oz prime rib was missing. The waitress said she forgot to enter the 8 oz prime rib and couldn’t correct the mistake because they were now out of prime rib. She apologized and said people make mistakes and involved two of the surrounding tables into my missing prime rib. Which I understand, yes people do make mistakes, but no one made it “right”. She basically made the error all about herself. She made me feel badly for her error. So, I had to wait about 20 minutes for NY strip while everyone else in my party ate. Management should have came to our table and made it right. They didn’t. No comp for one dinner , no free dessert, nothing.

What a great spot and restaurant!! The food was absolutely amazing- you have to try the pheasant and venison sausage. SO GOOD! We loved the atmosphere and really enjoyed the slower pace of everything- it made us enjoy the time together even more and we didn’t feel rushed to leave! If you are looking for fast-paced dining where you are in and out in an hour, this is not for you. They even recommend getting an appetizer and drinks first because the meals are specially prepared for each guest so they take longer. So, If you’re looking to relax, enjoy the atmosphere and your company + get stellar food, then this is the place! We celebrated our 8 year wedding anniversary here and it was perfect. Definitely recommend

This place will win four stars except for one thing the waiters are the nicest people ever they will apologize for even the littlest things like if they take your plate too early and if they add too much ice, they are extremely nice and the food there is delicious the kids hamburger that was nine dollars bigger than most hamburgers at places that are like $20 for one I would highly recommend going hereParking: A lot of parking
