Ate here quite a few years ago, the fried chicken and service was great. Recently, not so much. I ordered the same plate and I got fried pigeon I think. Service was great but the food was horrible. I heard some out of state carpet baggers bought the place from the long time owner. That pretty much sums it up.

I was the drummer for Jon Sarty. The food was incredible. They are so nice to the bands. Thank you, Kelly, staff, owners.

Came here on a business trip for dinner. The service was very good and fast. I had a burger that was just average. Looks like a fun place to come with friends.

Traveled from Florida to Wells Beach to Gray Maine to Third Connecticut Lake. Stopped for dinner and had Steak Tips, potato skins with bacon, Minestrone soup. Tips were marinated and cooked to perfection. Great tap beers also. Food was Tip-Top

totally got taken advantage of. wait staff was great but management blamed everything on their own staff when clearly the fault was on them. we had a reservation here and once arrived was told the wait time was over an hour. not only that but I purchased a shirt for $40 but the price said $25. I went back and spoke to management about the shirt and got laughed at. I lost a lot of respect for this place tonight and won't be saying anything good about the place because of the issues. I feel bad for the staff that works so hard at this pace because management doesn't give them the time or day. its a busy spot and was a favorite but its the lies that makes me wrote this review and the greed from the company that will keep me from revisiting again. if new management took over this page could be epic but its run all wrong and the respect is missing. too many negative factors will keep us from coming back!

We eat here weekly when we are at our Pittsburg home. Great fried chicken! Even when they are very busy the servers are great. Varied menu and homemade pies for dessert.

Our group of 4 stopped in the night before our sled ride the next day. The place was packed but we were seated quickly and enjoyed a few tasty drinks before our delicious meals. If you get a chance I would definitely recommend going to the Buck rub pub!

The servers are not masked. The burgers were edible but not tasty. The french fries were greasy and limp.

We had lunch here. Service is, well, let’s call It leisurely. Food came fast, though, once ordered, and was very good, though the French fries were a bit limp. It can get crowded during peak seasons, and long waits are common. There is outdoor seating on the porch, which is recommended if the weather cooperates. As it’s one of the few restaurants in Pittsburg, you’ll find yourself here often. Perfectly OK, but waiting is common. Clean toilet.

This place managed to produce one of the worst food experiences in recent memory. And certainly the poorest quality food among all the possible Pittsburg venues. An appetizer menu that is 95% frozen fare thrown in a fryer, and so opting for the one “homemade” app, their meatballs- the inedible sauce was only made worse by the meatballs which crumbled into shreds with the slightest touch of a fork, as if the kitchen had never heard of filler being use to keep meatballs from falling apart. Horrible. Then onto the main course. I have never seen a restaurant mess up a Seafood Casserole, but the (actual decent quality) seafood swimming in a layer of grease above their “alfredo sauce” was nearly inedible. Even the poor breadcrumbs were suffocated in the layer of grease lining the top of this casserole. A true hot mess. The young front-of-house staff is overwhelmed with the amount of people coming in, and they clearly need guidance. Service was courteous but slow, due probably to staffing issues. Atmosphere OK, but my word the food. First and last time. Never again.

Being from the NY area, it is tough to get a great meal. Well this place shocked me. We ate there twice and my teenage sons were happy. Good pizza, good chicken park, good burgers and good salads.
