We had a wonderful time at this place!! The interior was charming, and the staff were incredibly friendly when serving our food. And let me tell you, it was absolutely delicious!!! The dishes were hot, fresh, and tasted amazing! The seasoning on the chicken empanada was unlike anything I've ever tasted before.

Found this restaurant while visiting my daughter in Chester and I’m glad I did. This place is legit. I had pernil with rice and gandules, and chicken with rice and beans. Both dishes were AMAZING. I had an alcapuria and sancocho while waiting for my food and both delicious. Even though it is a half hour away, it is absolutely worth the drive. They will see me again very soon.

Great food! Outrageous prices for rice and beans. Go to Haverhill for more honest pricing. Really, $24.00 for mofongo for 1 person? It wasn’t even generous portions like most places.

Can I just say YES!!! It's hard to find a good Spanish restaurant with such in depth flavor profiles. I had the fried pork with Spanish rice and beans. I couldn't find a single technical error. And those empenadas (if I'm saying it correctly) are to die for!!!! Such friendly people the owner knows what he's doing for sure.

My family and I have been enjoying Cafe' El Camino's food for several years. From the absolutely addictive empanadas, who can eat just one? To the roast pork, amazing, and the platters we order during the holidays and special occasions everything has been well prepared and representative of traditional Puerto Rican foods. Cannot say enough about this wonderful restaurant and its owner. You have got to try it!

Ordered takeout on a Saturday evening. Service was quick and speedy, however food was disappointing and very expensive for what it was. Pork and crackling chicken were loaded with salt, rice was bland and chicken soup lacking in flavor (which was not the case the first time I had it and it was delicious.) Over $200 for pork and salt-doused fried chicken, rice, 8 epanadas and a small soup. What a bummer.

Wouldn’t recommend. Extremely expensive for what it is. Food isn’t hot when it comes out. The carnita Frita was great but that’s about it. Also what’s with the onions in the white rice…?

Ended up at this little gem after the restaurant we were initially going to in Methuen was closed. It's a small place with around 6 tables. You order at the counter and the food is taken to your table. What a surprise! Puerto Rican food at its best; better than any restaurant I've tried in Boston! We ordered pastelillos (chicken or beef patties), arroz con gandules (rice and pigeon peas), pernil (roast pork) and chicharrones (fried pork). We were so eager to dig in that no pictures were taken...lolThe chef came out and asked if we would like try some soup he had just made. I askedWhat kind and he said "levanta muertos". I won't translate that since it would take too long. The soup was mix of chicken, pork and root vegetables and it was excellent! We were there early but by the time we left people were waiting for tables. There were many people picking up catering orders since it was Three Kings Day.My sister said now she doesn't have to ask my mom to cook! Can't wait to go back.
