I am quite disappointed with this Panera Bread. My friend and I went there, and I went inside to get a green tea drink and a snack. Everything was fine, and the employees were friendly.
My friend is new to the area and walked around the outside of the property, getting some video of the building and talking about its history. He was on PUBLIC property. An employee came out and told him to leave (again, public property) or she’d call the police. He said no, and she called. The Plaistow police were very professional and said he was doing nothing wrong.
Then, as we were leaving, the employee kept coming out to her car to watch us. It was bizarre! Aside from my prior good service, Panera Bread should learn that they can’t kick someone out of a public area, and cameras (which they have in and on their building) isn’t going to hurt them.

Fresh healthy foods, fresh bread and excellent service in a relaxing atmosphere. I have the lobster roll and it was absolutely delicious. Well worth the money.

This delicious Strawberry Chicken Caprese salad is being offered at Panera for a limited time only. It's a healthy combination of mixed greens, arugula & basil, with balsamic vinegarette, grilled chicken, strawberries, fresh mozzarella & toasted pecan pieces. I chose an apple for my side. Charging nearly $4 for a sprinkle of bacon garnish on top of a cup of potato soup is outrageous and gouging. And carpet in a restaurant is disgusting to begin with, at least vacuum it regularly throughout the day.

If you use Apple Pay be careful this place charged me 18.75$ twice. Italian sub was poorly wrapped when I went to grab it it fell directly out of the rapper into the bag and it left a mess. I I paid for a whole sandwich ate half paid $37.50.
