Excellent! The new owners are doing a great job carrying on the tradition of Larry's. I highly recommend the scallops!

Excellent food and service.

I used to go here when it was Larry’s, at least once a week. This is an affront to Larry’s. Their clam chowder was ok but everything else We had was garbage. And they either forgot or screwed up things we ordered. Should have just stayed closed.

Owner takes employee tips. Says”they don’t deserve it” Same guy indicted for stealing cars and selling them. This guy is no good. I won’t come here ever again as long as he is owner.Rebuttal to his comment. I spoke to the employee. She told me not to tip due to the fact they don’t get them. Look up the owner of this establishment and the owner of the saddle up saloon! Google that. It’s all public information.So. How’s that appeal working for you? Be lucky I’m not in front of your business with a sigh during dinner time. Telling people not to eat there. First amendment. Look it up!

Food was very good, different fries (great). Help was polite. Wouldn't have said the prices were high if they had included a few more clams or scallops.

Stopped In on my lunch break With a coworker. Couldn’t see the menu well behind the plexi glass so the girl at the counter pointed out the stacks of paper menus on the counters. I chose a cheeseburger dinner for $12.50 and my coworker got a haddock basket. As she rang them up Mine rand in at $17. When I corrected her showing her the price on the menu she handed me she said “oh no that is wrong” pointed to the digital menu (that I couldn’t see) . I was flustered and just said ok ( but that is a big difference to be a mistake ). The portions were modest - My burger was raw in the middle and tasted of grease. The fries are definitely from frozen and tasted of freezer burn - gross! The onion rings were ok - and basically the only thing I ate. I don’t think and burger plate is worth $17 and this one definitely was not! My coworker said her fish was ok but lacked any kind of flavor. We were told the soda fountain machine was not working , but then the only other people to come I. While we were there had fountain drinks . Odd. That was a one and done visit. If you are thinking of trying them out - I suggest you choose something else- you will be disappointed .***UPDATE IN RESPONSE TO REPLY***Just to be clean - No I was not mistaken between basket and dinner. As you can see on the image of the menu I am attaching . A hamburger basket is listed as $8.50 (plus additional for cheese) and the dinner is listed as $11.75 (plus additional for cheese).

The food is as good as I remember at the old Larry’s. The batter is light and delicious. The fry is perfect. Scallops, shrimp, clams, onion rings: delicious. The unique potato are fantastic. I giggled when I saw the chicken machine, which was always a must when I was a kid!

Just went to Clam Bar for the 1st and last time. Phoned in an order picked it up, got home they forgot to include the large clam chowder. Called them to inform them of this. They asked if I wanted to come back and get it. Seeing as how I paid for it thought it was a trick question. Asked seeing as how they left it off the order could they bring it to me. Oh we don't do delivery. I wasn't asking for delivery I was asking for them to correct their error. They said we can't leave. Went back to get the chowder. No apology, no offer for future visit. I got their they handed me the bag with a here you go. The LARGE clam chowder is about the size of a small coffee cup. The picture shows a large chowder next to the 2 bags of oyster crackers that came with it. The 2 bags are half the size of the chowder. Guess customer satisfaction is secondary to profit.

Do not waste your money. This place has different prices than are on their price sheets on the counter and when you bring it to their attention that they are charging you a different price than the paper that you have and that you ask them why they had some things blacked out but what you were ordering was not blacked out they're excuses well we don't we can't fix all of the paper menus so we just post the other prices so had I not looked at my receipt I would not have realized that they would charge me more than their menu shows you are basically paying 2250 for about eight scallops the rest is french fries extremely poor will never ever come to this place again and I suggest no one else does either used to be a great place when it was Larry's Clam Bar and you got good value for your money this place just rips you off not good at all save yourself some money you can go to the beach and spend less money was just there and spent less.

Portions ok, pricing a little high by current standards. I had the small fisherman’s platter. Like I said, seafood ok. I may have liked the onion rings, but they came stuck together in a lump, so I couldn’t really tell. Did not like the fries, but that’s a matter of preference. Staff was nice enough, but I dislike being asked for a tip just because someone took my order, and then set it on the pickup window, where I have to fetch it. Probably won’t go back.

Went for the first time! Seafood was amazing and very large plates! Will definitely come back! Haddock,Scallops, Clams and Shrimp❤️ Stephanie came over to meet us she was amazing! We were visiting from Texas! They do not have whole belly fried clams or Haddock! Best we have had in a long time!

Great portion size! I really like what they did with the new fries! Definitely not the old Larry’s but it’s still some good food! :)

Garbage. Food was subpar, service was terrible, value was low. $30 for a “first mate” fried platter…was skimpy even with the fries and o-rings. I went out for a drink right afterwards and ordered nachos because I was still hungry. For a $30 lunch you should be full for the rest of the day or have leftovers. Neither was the case for me. The young lady who took our order was not very pleasant at all. My son got a super beef and it was good. At least something went right.

Bought the Fisherman's Platter for 29.00 Sunday afternoon. My wife and I grabbed a picnic table out back on the makeshift beach and split the Platter. EVERYTHING on the plate was perfect. Hot, crispy, fresh clams, scallops ,shrimp, haddock, fries, O rings and slaw. Highly recommend eating there and not to do take out. The fish will be soggy by the time you get it home.

Not the Larry’s of old…I took my family here when it first opened up, there were no signs indicating the cash price was different than the credit price. Paid almost $50 for the fisherman’s platter, it was average quality and portions were small, an abundance of french fries was an attempt to mask this. The wait was very long despite there being few people in the restaurant. It’s too bad, I live close by, but I’ll never go back.
