First stop on vacation , great sandwiches, beer and atmosphere.
We stopped in after settling our daughter in after move in day at PSU. Not only were the sandwiches delicious, the service was just as wonderful. Def coming back for that meatball sub!!

Biederman's Deli is a hidden gem located in the basement of an old building. The atmosphere is cool, featuring a fun German beer hall/authentic deli vibe with local vibes and rock and roll ambience. The menu showcases great sandwiches, including the outstanding meatball sub and Boarshead cold cuts, along with a massive selection of craft beers. The "1/2 Sammie 1/2 Soup Pick Combo" special remains popular, with the "Basement Bomber" being a standout choice, featuring toasted bread with garlic butter and a cup of New England soup.
