The atmosphere was quaint, food was good. The chicken pot pie is definitely worth writing home about.

It's a good reliable mediocre place to know about on that long drive down from the mountains.

There are good times to be had here. I have had many. Sometimes there are events that can "dump" a lot of people into the bar area all of a sudden and that can overwhelm staff and customers alike, so that is a negative, but on the whole, good food, good beer, etc , good people.

I've been visiting this place for 20 year and unfortunately this will be my last. This place is not the same as it used to be. The food/flavor used to be like eating art. It was magic. Sauces & gravies that matched perfectly. Herbs and spices combined in ways that made everything absolutely amazing. This place was a rare find, but unfortunately over the years things changed a lot. The prices are still high but the good is just junk. It lacks flavor, sauces, and seasoning. I ordered the Fosters Burger today and it came as a dry bun with dry fried onions on clear piece of plastic-like cheese on a dry burger. There was a little sauce on the bottom bun but nothing you could taste and nothing that tied any flavors together. It was an expensive, $16.99, burger that I could have made better at home.
My husband ordered the pulled pork mac & cheese. It's unusual that he not finish a dish. Again, it was bland and boring. He found bones and a big piece of fat in the bowl. The pork lacked flavor. Even just salt would have improved it a little. The cheese...????...not sure what that was. Needless to say, $23.99 later and most of his plate was left on the table. It's such a shame that this place has changed so much. Another great piece of history gone. :(

My "power salad" with "kale & spinach & mixed berries" had no kale and was basically a pile of spinach with only blueberries. My husband's $32 steak tips was 1 skewer of maybe 6 cubes of meat with a very small plop of potatoes and maybe 5 oily asparagus. My daughter's chicken pot pie had no flavor. Did they change hands within the last 2 years because 2 years ago we had 2 great meals and looked forward to returning. Our server was very nice and all staff were friendly, but the food was poor

Brian the manager gave us the best seat in the house for our delicious lunch!! Food was great, wait staff was friendly, will return……and will once again try to buy the Buffalo head at the door!

I had the new burrito special and I got to say it was awesome shredded beef was tender by more surprisingly it was flavorful pico de gallo was simple, but packed a subtle punch. Gianna was my waitress and as soon as I sat down, she came over took my order. I can’t complain, service, and food was both exceptional and timely. Atmosphere was a little dark on the bar but altogether it was a great experience. Will be back when I’m in the neighborhood

Food was overall very good
French Fries were 8/10, definitely above average
Pulled Pork Mac and Cheese was creamy, well flavored, had a decent amount of pulled pork, and the pasta was cooked perfectly. Solid portion size too, would definitely get again
The Peanut Butter Pie dessert was exceptional, lots of good fudge, PB mousse was very tasty, the crust was great, and it had delicious PB cups in it too, and whipped cream. I'd come here just for that dessert again. Perfect on flavor and textures.

Also they have free crackers with cheese or dip which was a nice snack. The restaurant is also quite cool, it has about 5 staggered levels and nooks and crannies plus a cool wine tasting room. Would highly recommend!

Dietary restrictions: They had their own gluten free menu that was pretty comprehensive, including the flatbread pizza. Uses Uti's products primarily!

Had fish and chips for dinner. Only got one SMALL piece of fish, and it was EXHORBITANTLY priced at $22. Should have been AT LEAST 2 pieces! Very disappointed. Think twice before you order this dish! The “Maitre d’ was disorganized and slow. Manager was rude. Will NEVER go back!!!!
