Our waitress was very attentive. The portions were generous and the food tasted good. Nice price.

We were absolutely invisible to our waitress "Lori". It was then clear that Lori made the hostess take our order for what she deemed a seating error, and then proceeded to make her finish our order/table while avoiding eye contact with us and walking around our table with her head down. The young blonde hostess was absolutely amazing for doing our table, while seating people, taking phone orders, and to go orders, and dealing with an old know-it-all of a co-worker. Unfortunately I forgot her name. 4 for the food/value, 5 for the hostess, 1 for the Lori.Food here is almost always amazing, but this is absolutely the norm for service here.

I would give a zero if possible, waitresses were friendly, food was cold lobster was terrible and might have been reheated, ribs were tough and not a half rack like menu stated and the beans were cold out of a can. McDonald's would have been a better choice to eat, maybe other days the food was better but NOT on this day.PS, don't use the bathroom unless absolutely necessary

The chowder didn't taste home made, but the fried fish was really good. The breading was perfect and not greasy. The fried shrimp was the best I've ever had. It was a little chilly inside, otherwise it's a clean restaurant. I'll be back.

Got two meals over $50. I didn't find that the half rack of ribs that were burnt and the little bit of called chicken was very good. The baked beans were cold and did not taste that great and the baked potato was very small. And I also believe I got food poisoning. I will not be back to this location and it didn't help that it was so overpriced

Just go. Awesome seafood shack in the mountains. Our waitress was an absolute beast. I swear they must have been short staffed because she had what looked like half the restaurant. She was slammed and took care of everyone. Our food was fresh tasting and the price for what you get is outstanding.

A small, homey atmosphere. The staff was personable (Laura & Chuck) and very efficient! Food was great — Fisherman’s Platters and Steak Tips were fab!

Wanted to try the bbq, but got sidetracked by the lobster roll! Our first roll in our week in New England and no disappointment at all - it was terrific!. Fries were crispy, coleslaw creamy, good beer selection and reasonable wine choices for a small place. Sandy our waitress was attentive and Tiffany's a great 'coach. Seafood chowder less than impressive, maybe an off night. Definitely worth a visit. Wish we'd tried the bbq also.

Not busy on Sunday, 5pm. Friendly wait staff. After ordering food took exceptionally long time to arrive. Portions were good. Not too much but able to clean our plates and did not feel stuffed. Fried clams were tender. Haddock was flaky and nicely battered. Boiled lobster was just right. Cole slaw was sweet and more than a fork full. Fries were barely warm. Seemed like they were either pre cooked and sitting in a pan for a while or cooked too early and sat under warming light. $140 for 3 people.

Parking: Ample parking in their own lot.

When we walked in I heard one of the customers say they were getting out of here. They ended up out on the patio. I wish we had done the same. After being seated I understood with the other customers moved to the patio. The hostess should have been sent home for wearing short shorts. Her butt cheeks were hanging out. Disgusting! Then when she cleaned the table next to us she made sure she pointed her a** towards my husband. He was even disgusted by her actions. Needless to say we won’t be eating there anymore.

I’m satisfied all and beyond. Portions are huge. Food is fresh and tasty. Lunch comes with an ice cream. Waitresses are amazing!Disclaimer, I’m not a sea food lover

Visited recently. The food is amazing. The staff are all super polite. Great positive atmosphere. We asked our server, Desiree, for some suggestions as it was our first time visiting and she definitely did not steer us in the wrong direction! Not only was she super helpful, she was amazing! The place was packed and she didn’t miss a beat! We will be back when we come to the area again and we will be asking for her by name! Strongly recommend George’s if you want great seafood, amazing staff and an all around feeling of home!

This place has always been a local gem but it’s under new management and it isn’t what it once was. We were a party of 11 with a reservation. We were seated in a back room that gave the feel of a white box atmosphere and no other place to put us. Soda was served in bottles, not fountain dispensed. I always have enjoyed the scallops here and was craving them. HUGE disappointment. The food was mildly warm, scallops COVERED in bread crumbs that were soggy and appeared to have been added right before the dish came to the table. Other dishes had no flavor or were presented horribly. The wait staff appeared as though they didn’t know the routine, getting mixed signals from whom I can only think was the manager. All in all, this was not the celebration meal we were so looking forward to and I’m sorry to see Plymouth lost a local treasure. I won’t be back.

3 stars is generous. Jumbo crab cakes $15.95 deep fried and likely not homemade. Fishermans platter $37.95. 4 small scallops, 4 small shrimp, 4 whole belly clams, 2 tiny pieces of haddock. Clams were rubbery. Fries were underwhelming. Coleslaw was basic at best. We probably won’t be back. I heard this place was great before new owners took over.
