Had the chicken Parmesan dinner. The chicken was thin and the noodles were okay. A little pricey but the service was decent.

incredible. amazing. can't speak better about it. they offer endless bread with delicious oils, and their food is more authentic italian than any other place in the area. the aroma is amaaaaazing (very romantic). everyone there is very friendly!

The best food, very acceptable prices and really friendly atmosphere and staff. Keep in mind that the portions / servings are huge, we ordered one salad and one haddock for two people, and it was more than enough!

In the last 6 months this restaurant has fallen lower and lower on our list of favorites & it’s sad to see. This used to be my favorite restaurant. 2 nights ago we went and I got the wild mushroom ravioli & they were bland, the Marsala was more like French onion soup. It’s a vacation weekend, so I understand being busy but our server didn’t even ask if the food was OK, she also didn’t even ask when she was given back a plate of four of the five raviolis. The entire room of tables cleared out before ours, and not one table was cleaned during the time we were there. Our waitress was rarely able to be found.Things happen, and we are very understanding, but it seems to be becoming a habitual thing at this point.

We’ve been here a couple of times and it’s good every time. This past time was my favorite. The scallop and shrimp pesto Alfredo I got with the fresh pasta of the day was incredible. The mussels were the best I’ve ever had.

Upon first arriving, dug right into the breads with olive oil and vinegar which were a fantastic start to the meal. Then... They vanished? Never to return until after our entrees came out which is unfortunate. Starting with the chicken wings, great texture and were fresh out of the kitchen but they were bland and flavorless with not nearly enough sauce; which was supposed to be some sort of hot cherry or something. Entree came after. I got the wild mushroom ravioli, it was fantastic albeit pretty small portions for a vegetarian dish priced the same as its carnivorous cousins. Luckily, I got a side of meatball which was pretty tasty. My fiancee however, got their nightly Bolognese special with the long pasta (I forget what it was called something Italian) and it was completely bland and flavorless, needing salt, herbs, or really anything to add flavor. It seriously tasted like a college dorm room pasta with meat sauce. Overall, decent experience but with common man's monopolization of every restaurant in the state, I expect some fine tunage to be done with their menu. Why offer tollhouse chocolate cookies at your upscale Italian farmhouse restaurant? I get that's a staple of CM, but the theme should be consistent in my opinion.

Special day, Special place. Early evening dinner, as always terrific. I just wish portion size was more modest. The chicken parm could have fed three people!Update 2/14/24: A Valentines Day dinner. Always so good.

We have visited this restaurant the last two years when visiting the Ice CastlesThe first year was 2022 and it was historically cold. We could not make it to.the ice Castles with temps in the negative double digits. Even our dogs would not go outside! We had to eat though and we stumbled on this restaurant..we honestly could not have had a better experience. Despite the weather everyone working that night was amazing. But the food was even better! We are used to great restaurants I our area so it's safe to say our standards are kinda high. This place did not disappoint!!!Our kids enjoyed their meals, the adults enjoyed their meals. Everyone had dessert and we even bought a case of grog too! The grog is best served warn and with whiskey in my opinion! Anyway we went back again this year for another awesome family meal. Don't miss out on his hidden jewel if you are in the area and craving some delicious, heart and wholesome italian food!!!Kid-friendliness: Great option for families! Low key environment with nice kids menu!

I want to like this place, however this is my second time there and it was not very good.Folks who work there as waitstaff and host are very, very nice, kind and attentive, no faults there at all. The waitstaff and kitchen appear to be overworked and spread far too thin for the volume of people they are trying to serve. The overall result is sub-par at best, my food arrived (eventually) cold and not very good at all, basic stuff too. My daughter's meal was cold as well and not cooked properly (med rare was very, very rare). Other more typical Common Man restaurants (like Ashland, generally excellent) seem to do it significantly better.Sorry all, I'd pass on this place.Message to the owner - you need more staff!

The food at Italian farmhouse is always consistent and the atmosphere is lovely. The one unsatisfactory aspect of my experience was the espresso martini cocktail that my table and I ordered. I’m not sure what the bartender put in the drinks but it tasted like dog bowl water and cigarette butts. I suggest this establishment invest in some mixology training to enhance the overall restaurant experience.

We have been twice now and we enjoyed our time here.1. Staff: The staff was very polite and welcoming2. Timeliness: The second time we dined there comma our food arrived very quickly. The first time we dined, we were given a complimentary appetizer when our food arrived late the first visit3. Location: It is a beautiful location. Very comfortable in the summer and fall. It is a barn so when we were seated in the winter, we were seated near a sliding door that did have a draft and we wore our jackets the whole time.4. Price: The food it priced according to the location. We spent $100 including tip which included two meals, and appetizer, two desserts, and no drinks. The portions were appropriate and as two average athletic people, we finished all of our food.As far as eateries go, this would be on the expensive end.5. It reminded us of one of the places we are frequently dined, The Common Man and is associated with their chain.6. Unlimited bread with three choices of dips is providedFor reference, we measure everything against the standard of our favorite place to dine, Cheesecake Factory
