Very good food and service
Great Atmosphere!
It was a super chill meal with very comfortable seating. The service was great, and the food was prepared rather quickly. The food itself was quite tasty (They have a pretty decent steak!), but not too remarkable. Additionally, they had a small selection of Mexican dishes, which adds some variety to the menu. Overall, a pretty good classic American grill with great staff and a nice atmosphere.
We had dinner here today, May 21, 2026, and it was wonderful! Jason, our server, was fantastic and made our experience even better! The food was delicious and the place was clean and the service was above and beyond great! I highly recommend The Lucky Dog Tavern if you are looking for a great meal with great people!

I haven't been there in years, but I would imagine not much has changed! Out of all the places I've been, this has to be one of the most memorable! I hope to visit again someday, the whole area is amazing

We had an excellent time here! Beer was ICE Cold, and nachos were delicious. Bartender (Melanie?) was fantastic! Definite college/dive bar feel (we ate at the bar), but very welcoming to all. Crew showed a sincere pride in their work.

A fun place, just off main drag thru Plymouth NH. Unusual layout inside, to reach the bar some steep stairs had to be negotiated down to the level of the back lot where parking lot is. Next time I go there, I'll park out back and avoid the stairs.
Bartender was a pretty dark haired woman of about 25. She had help of other women, also attractive.
The decor was basement saloon. Clean, spacious and got high marks from my lady who is all about ambience.
We were after a snack and a drink. I ordered chips and salsa. Meh...nothing to get excited about, but...hey, it's chips and salsa. My honey ordered mozzarella pesto
something...don't remember what they called it. It turned out to be like a flatbread pizza in appearance, but the taste was fantastic !! I ate half her order. So good !! Nothing left over and it cost Bout $7.50 ! Bargaining of bargains !!
Place felt like friends. I'd go there a lot if I lived in Plymouth.

Went to get food with my family… On google it says they are open at 4pm but they were not. Bread was not out when they did open and both the hostess and the server were very rude about the bread not being out and the doors still being locked passed 4:30pm no apologies just attitude towards a paying customer who is a frequent visitor. Definitely will NOT visit again Last chair and La Familia are better options for any family visiting or locals trying to grab a bite to eat after a long day at work…

I have been going here since a child and have never had a bad thing to say till now. This is the second time where the door has been locked (showed up at 4:35) but online it says open. The first time i left but i am pregnant and was craving it so i called in - the hostess who answered the phone stated they were open and i let her know the doors were locked. She then stated ok give me a second - a couple minutes later she came to the door and unlocked it then walked away before seating us. She seemed annoyed , sat us and then went to the bar and sat on her phone. When going up to get bread we noticed there was none so we got crackers and sat , while that was happening another customer walked in. The hostess sat up and went to seat them and they asked for a different seat to be in the sun and VISIBLY annoyed she snatched the menus up to move to the other table - at this point i was beyond frustrated because if you hate your job why work there and ruin the experience of the paying customers ? I let our waiter know we wanted some bread and he stated with attitude might i add “we don’t make the bread till people come in it’s in the oven”. Once receiving attitude from the waiter who i have had before and LOVED i was all set i went up and asked for Patty’s number , all i was met with was a sorry and him stating the downstairs opens at 3 and the top doesn’t till 4:30. Regardless of me being 5 mins PAST opening so that shouldn’t have mattered everything online and on the signs state the kitchen opens at 4. It’s very disappointing that such a staple of my family and mines childhood was ruined by someone who clearly doesn’t want to be employed. Very disappointed .
