Amazing food, great ambiance and great drinks. One of my favorite restaurants in Plymouth, and in general! Come here every time we visit NH now.

I celebrated my birthday here and the owner was incredibly friendly and kind, felt welcomed.

Yamas is awesome! My wife and I went there and ordered falafel dinners and they were delicious. The atmosphere is great and decorated beautifully. The owner and staff are the best! They are so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back.

I am no expert at Greek food but you can't go wrong with this place. The red brick walls were very inviting and the food was great. We went on a beautiful summer day and the wall to the outside was open with a dining bar through it so you could sit on either side. The food was tremendous! We did the Alifies ( all spreads ), followed by Pita Wraps, Chicken Horiyatiki and then rice bowls. The desert was great as well! ( Baklava and Chocolate Mouse ).

The place has a kids menu as well so you are all set if you do go with kids.

The Falafel and Rice Bowl turned out to be my favorite!

Yamas was just incredible! The food, the service and the atmosphere is a 10! My sons had been talking it up for a couple of years and they are spot on! Can’t wait to get back! Great drink menu to go with a great menu!

Average Greek diner food in a slightly bougie setting. Skordalia was dry and flavorless, other spreads were slightly better but nothing outstanding.

Only one bartender working on a busy Saturday night. Ordered a drink after dinner, never saw it. When she was bringing the check, she said she “just realized” that she had forgotten to make it. Was hoping she’d offer to make it—we’d be happy to pay, maybe order some more and stay longer—but nope, just an apology, and she never cast a glance our way after. So we left.

Weather permitting, the wide open street-facing dining room reminded me of Lefkas, Greece. I’d give you 5 stars for Atmosphere if you’d play traditional Greek music instead of Billy Joel. I like Billy Joel, but his music doesn’t evoke Greece.

No problem with the Service. 3 stars means satisfactory.

The food: the “Greek salad” had about 4 olives, a little bit of Feta, supermarket flavorless Roma tomatoes. I think it cost $16. Correct me if I’m wrong. On my half dozen visits to Greece they use local farm produce full of flavor, give you a big block of Feta and plenty of olives with a salad.

The Spanakopita seemed made from puff pastry, not Filo. There wasn’t enough spinach to tell if that was spinach. I didn’t taste any Feta.

The Moussaka had a good bit of ground beef, a tiny bit of eggplant, I couldn’t tell if it had potatoes or “red sauce.” It was rich tasting, and not like its description on the menu. By “rich tasting” I mean it tasted unhealthy. Not like the Mediterranean diet Greece is famous for.

I offer this as constructive criticism because I think the owner does care and can improve.

Suggestions: buy local NH farm produce; don’t skimp on the Feta, spinach or Greek olives; heat up the pitas. Otherwise they taste like they’re out of a plastic bag.

Good luck!

Happened upon this wonderful spot and it was wonderful! We got the bean appetizer as a starter and the Greek Chicken platter & Gyro platter for entrees. The craft cocktails were delicious & well balanced & the highlight! The baklava for dessert was the cherry on top. Service was excellent & we enjoyed the outdoor seating with our pup. We will be back!

Relaxed, easy going atmosphere. Great in/out seating at the garage door style open front area. Just stop in for a sun downer beer, a snack (the gyro pita is excellent), or a full meal (highly recommend the octopus starter).
Maybe not as Greek-authentic as I'm told it was before, but it's one of our favorites in Plymouth
