The fried scallops were excellent. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. The location and view is great. The bar serves top notch drinks. It can get pretty busy in season, so I like visiting in the off-season best.
It's on the Sagamore Creek and right next door to a marina. Lots of boats and docks to look at from the outdoor dining area.
Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

I had to get back here before they close for the winter season. I sat in the bar and had the fried oysters and onion rings and also a margarita -- everything was great. This place has been around for decades and is one of Portsmouth's gems. Friendly service, reasonable prices, great food and drink, and nice views of Sagamore Creek and the marsh.
Fabulously fresh seafood and always a fun experience! They will offer the freshest catch of the day yet - you can never go wrong with their scallops….YUM!!!!
Great atmosphere good food service was great
Huge scallops! And clams were very tasty
I haven’t been here since I was a kid but it’s still just as great. The bartender was friendly, efficient and just overall an excellent bartender. I went on Thursday night…it was hot and busy but she always smiled at her customers. I’m going to be back and I’ll be sure to tell all my friends what an awesome experience I had!
Ate on deck; a beautiful day. Good food at reasonable prices for a tourist destination, which many locals also frequent. Noise on deck is not a concern; I can’t comment on indoor dining as we have not eaten inside in years.
Excellent atmosphere and service. My lobster rolls was pretty good. The bun was slightly burned and it could have used some butter when being toasted. My sangria and the onion rings were excellent..
Disappointed. Plastic knives and forks. Food lacked flavor. Atmosphere was dated. Won't return.

Pulled up to dock a large Pursuit; plenty of water on inside of dock to shore. Had a side of scallops and side of coleslaw, both were terrific. Scallops cooked perfectly. Three of us had the same orders, all concurred. Clean, light and airy, staff friendly and efficient.

My family and I spent over $200 on meals we only half ate and did not bring home the half and half with haddock was disgusting the haddock was slimy. Also had seafood chowder which tasted sour sent that back. Got the fried zucchini and zucchini was uncooked but the out side batter was almost burnt. The server we had was horrible had to get his attention two or three times for things we needed. Made it from the restaurant to Hooksett /concord area and husband got sick. We will never go back.
