We love BJs produce in particular but my most enthusiastic rave goes to the free online ordering/pick up service. Having someone else shop for my groceries saves me SO much time. I just add to my online BJs shopping cart all week, and then submit the order a day when I know I'm going to Portsmouth. They're quick to fill the order and very flexible on pickup. While there is a two-hour window assigned for pickup, it's often ready earlier and they are fine with customers picking up anytime later that day. And they don't charge a penny for this terrific service. Thank you, BJs!

This is not for the store, but for the tire center. And it's not even for the tire center, it's for the rude manager who works there. No concept of customer service. He should absolutely not be customer-facing.

I just joined today. They had 1 person at the member services register and a line 6 customers deep. I waited patiently since I’d driven 25 minutes to get here I didn’t want to give up without a good try. I finally got to join the club and went shopping. The health and beauty aids area was ok, frozen too. But the fresh veggies and fruits were terrible. Apples were mushy, pears looked like they’d been beaten. All I could get were some bananas. Next I went through their clothing section. Piles were jumbled, the selection was small and the quality was poor. Looked like clothes from the bargain area at the old Ames or Zayers stores. I managed to select some juice and cheese. I headed for check out. They only had one - 1 - register open. After waiting 3 deep to check out for quite a while I decided to write this review. As you can see I’ve had plenty of time to express my displeasure. Turns out the reason there’s only 1 - one - register open is because the gentleman ringing at the other one went on break. No one came to cover his register even though there was a line. He’s finally come back so I’m sure I’ve been waiting to checkout 15-30 minutes. Seems like forever. … We’ll I finally managed to check out. The gentleman cashier rang up the jumbled items without taking them out of my cart - rearranging as he went. Yes - you guessed it, I was double charged for some of my items and had to go back into the store and brave the member services line gain. Truly this was not a good experience and I probably will drive the extra 20 minutes to Costco in MA.

Really like to come here. Never had a bad experience here. Unlike some other stores I could shop at. There's another store I can get groceries at but the checkout lines are Always crazy. A bunch of people that look like that want to fight with everyone in Line. But here at BJ's is perfect, never ever a bad experience. It's really neat and clean. The Checkout lines are sometimes busy but it's not like some other stores I have shopped at before. The only bad thing is prices are going higher, and Not Lower :((. But BJ's has everything you may need.

We shop at BJ's alot, and all of the employees there are really friendly. I want to give a special shoutout to one very special employee who went above and beyond when I was getting a new pair of glasses in the eyewear department, Mike D! Mike was extremely friendly, enthusiastic, and funny the whole time! He really made my experience so worthwhile! I hope he gets a raise and hope I get the chance to see him again!

I ordered a Special cake for my Cousins' Memorial Service, but the decoration was not exactly what I ordered. Even though it was an oversight, Bakery Mgr Amanda went above and beyond and compensated me for the error.I want to thank her for her kindness. The cake was well received and enjoyed by all.

Whoever was the frontend leader/ manager (whatever she was ) today has a DISGUSTING attitude toward her employees. She needs to go! She screamed at a cashier as I was checking out with her for no good reason. DISGUSTING. Im hesitant to return because of this. Treat your employees with respect! Gross.

A huge shout out to Rich in the Tire Department. I spoke to him a few weeks ago and ordered our tires on line, as was required. Today we had them installed, he was so informative and knowledgeable about our purchase. The installation took less time than originally stated, he called us to let us know. I'm very impressed with the professionalism and courtesy of Rich. We will definitely get our tires here in the future. Highly recommend!

This review is for the tire department. The guy who seems to have been there the longest is named Brian. When Brian either writes up your order or works on your tires it is as if there is nobody else in the world. He explains every detail and makes sure that you are aware of all of your paperwork and how important it is to keep it. I had to go to a different place to get my tires changed for winter because BJ's didn't stock the right one with the right rating for my car. They will not compromise and give you something that doesn't meet specifications. That is the right thing to do! Your tires are critical to the safety of your car. The free change over and rotation is a great deal. I recommend.

Good selection, custom made cakes.

My positive rating is based on the BJ's Tire department. They are polite, friendly and answered all my questions. I will definitely be going back for my next set of tires. As far as the rest of BJ's, although I've only been there a couple times, my interactions with the staff both in the building and at the gas station has been met with a pretty snippy mood and rude attitude.

Did someone say buying in bulk? It's all fun and games till you check out and load the stuff in the car. Yes you can sometimes pick a free sample of something if that's your move. They also have discount gas there. Good selection of a lot of products.

I joined here because my local Sam's club in Seabrook closed its doors. I really wish I had toured this place before I joined- as mentioned below the food court is gone, while I wouldn't use it much it just seems like a staple in any wholesale club. While prices on some items were comparable to Sam's many things were much more money or the house brand was sub par in comparison to Sam's house brand, and while they have self checkouts it's what I would call a dated version with a belt that requires you to but all but the heavy items on the belt so it can be scanned on it's way toward your carriage (I guess to prevent theft?) and in their infinite wisdom have removed the cordless barcode scanners forcing you to find the self checkout attendant who has the only scanner or to pick up all the heavy crap you've bought and struggle to scan it to in turn have the computer tell you to put it back in your cart because it's too heavy for the belt. Maneuvering around in there can also be a chore, the isles are much more narrow and the checkout much more congested than Sam's was, they also love to put huge display boxes of products in the middle of the main isles which leaves you barely enough room to get a push cart by never mind one of the large flat carts.

We used to go frequently to this location and always enjoyed something to eat there. Well, imagine our surprise when we entered the store and discovered the food court were gone, there were pallets of products in front of where the cafe used to be. Not cool. Other than that the store is Ok, but I guess we'll go there even less now.
