Delish !! From start to finish everything was fabulous! From the amazing door that you walked through to the woodwork and the brick and the old Portsmouth feel The food was fabulous. It actually made my taste buds dance! If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by. Staff is top-notch.

I've been to many Michelin star restaurants and Black Trumpet's food equals or surpasses many of these places. A minor issue is the rather small portions, even in their large entree size. Our Server was very courteous & friendly, although he might be new to the establishment as he routinely consulted notes when discussing specials. Absolutely, one of the best restaurants in New Hampshire. Additionally, the atmosphere is very nice.

One of the best meals I've had in NH. The food was outstanding and the service was friendly and attentive. The wine list is great and I love the emphasis on local seasonal food. This is a pricey spot, but definitely worth the splurge for a date night or special occasion.
