Best pizza in Portsmouth! Great seafood offerings on the Dinner Horn side of the restaurant.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza is my favorite offering.Parking: Caution, a portion of the parking lot goes underwater during King high tides. Once a month.

I mean how can you not love this local pub. The pizza is always the best and have a great gluten free option, A must stop when I am in the area! The Sprimp pesto is my favorite but the Neptune is the bomb also!

I have been coming here for years. Often describe it to others as the worlds' best pizza, though I do also have a soft spot for Tripoli's down in Lawrence. The crust has a smooth snap to it, the cheese is always full of flavour, and the sauce is a perfect balance of sweet and savory that ties it all together. My family says the chicken parm dinner is excellent as well- I wouldn't know, I get the same half cheese half Hawaiian with buffalo chicken every time. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere feels incredibly cozy. If you live in Portsmouth, this is a place you miss when you're away; if you don't live in Portsmouth, come in and do your taste buds a favour.PS: Try the garlic bread.

I love the fact that this restaurant is iconic with a long history serving the seacoast. I love that the waitstaff is as iconic as the restaurant. I love the old world slightly tacky decor and how it adds to the charm. I love that so many people with long histories still swear-by and love the food. BUT FOR ME THE MEAL WAS TERRIBLE. Sorry folks! The greek salad was average but I must admit the feta was good. The infamous pizza is made with a flimsy cracker crust. The pizza toppings, while slightly interesting (chicken livers) tasted cheap and poorly prepared. Sure, they load the pizzas with whatever toppings you choose but they mostly serve to completely demolish the weak crust. The wings which receive a lot of word of mouth local accolades for being extra hot (spicy) are served with soft skins, and I specifically asked for them to be crispy. Chewy skins on chicken wings is a mortal sin. I really really wanted to love the Bratskeller but unfortunately I probably won't be going back

Very cool pub with great wings. I personally thought the pizza tasted like it was from a roller skate park but my husband liked the pizza. The pricing is very fair and overall I would come back, just not for the pizza.

I have been a loyal customer for years until one day a few weeks ago, my friend and I sat at a high top which had not been cleaned yet. When Tom came over after approx.10 min. I apologized but said high tops are in demand so we sat there. I said” I don’t want to be one of those people”and he responded with”yet you are” we ordered 2 beers which he delivered after 15 min and never returned to take our order as we watched him at the bar. He totally ignored us. After sitting there for 30 min… not exaggerating, we went to the dining room. We had a wonderful server and we explained we owed for the beers but Tom wouldn’t wait on us. She said this is your lucky day, I’m not charging you for the beers. I’m so disappointed with Tom. He shouldn’t be in the business if her treats people like that. I’m reaching out now because of your advertisement on Chronical on WMUR. We have not been back since but certainly want to as for years my friends and family have been regulars. Tom should at least be reprimanded for his disrespectful and passive aggressiveness. He should definitely retire!

We had only been in Portsmouth for an hour or so when my wife and I independently decided that pizza would be a good choice for dinner. We wanted something very local versus a pizza chain. This place fit the bill perfectly for that. Plus the reviews were good. So off we went in search of this place. A quick 7-8 minute drive from our hotel found the restaurant. We went in, we knew we had made the right choice. To say this place felt local was an understatement. Grandparents with their grandkids. Parents with their kids. People like us. Our server was an older gentleman who really knew his stuff. We had a few questions, which he answered perfectly. He told us that basically this was a Greek pizza place. And he was right. The place was not fancy, but was definitely clean and welcoming. The Pizza was really good! The beer was cold. All in all, we really enjoyed our visit here.

I love it so much. My dad took me here a lot as a kid, so I went back a few weeks ago with my husband. It was so good. Affordable, friendly sweet service, red soda cups and a million refills and a nice Greek salad. Brought back endless memories. Really enjoyed it! Approachable sizes too- you really can split a pizza between two people, it's a hearty crust and not too heavy.
