My go to bar when visiting Portsmouth for the Maine Lunch and great burgers, and the Brussels are fantastic. Tonight it was lighter fare, I had the arugula salad and again a great choice. Beware though, reviewers say a meal here is $10-$20 and this is very wrong, salad beers tax and tip were $54 for me tonight.

Travel from Seattle to visit my husband on his work trips, and this is always my first stop after arriving at the Boston airport! The atmosphere is always relaxing and light. The service is quick and friendly. The food is always perfect, and the combination of flavors are a delight. I'd recommend the allagash white beer with the four horsemen burger!

My wife and I had the Philly cheese steak egg rolls, the brazen burger, and the figgetta about it burger. The service was incredible, the food was delicious and the beer selection was great. This was the best burger I've had in years. I'd go back to Portsmouth just for their burgers.

For a vegan diner, there are plenty of options on the menu- including a fully vegan black bean burger with vegan cheese and toppings, and a mushroom burger. You can also create your own with various patties and toppings on the menu. They also have a fried chicken patty made from mushrooms. This is a great place to stop for lunch and sit outside if the weather is nice (even bring your dog to the patio).
We usually stop into brgr when visiting family who attends the University of New Hampshire. Always a friendly staff, attentive service and good burgers with plenty of options. They're happy hour menu as many great choices at affordable prices. Some of our favorites are the smash burgers and the make your own burger. We also enjoy the waffle fries with cheese sauce and bacon. Worth a stop on your way through Portsmouth

First time at this burger joint and I can tell you that I was not disappointed, in fact I'd go back every time I'm in Portsmouth.
Party of 7, we sat outside for supper. Seats and tables are well placed and hug the corner of the street, which is not very busy.
Ok let's get down to business :
Food : We all took one version of their famous smash burgers, mine was the au poivres burger. Very generous portions , the meat is tender and fresh, the bun is brioched and their fries are crispy and exceptional.
Everyone else were also very impressed with their food.
The only downside to this particular plate was the au poivres sauce that I found to be a bit too salty,
Service: exceptional, professional and quick., also attention to detail.
Overall, if you happen to be in Portsmouth and want to try a good burger, this is the place.
