Went to Portsmouth for a Birthday weekend. When we go away I loke to see what places we would like to eat and the BRGR Bar did not disappoint. The burgers were great definitely needed to cut it in half. One of the best burgers I have ever had. When in the area one of the places I will go to. Our server Mike was great.

Large selection of burgers, adult milkshakes and other American dishes. So many options it was hard to choose which ones to eat. Build your own burger was also an option. Fast and friendly service was much appreciated. We went on Saturday night and it was packed! We still received excellent service and the food was delicious. They even had GF udis buns for an extra $2.50. The clean bathrooms were single use for use by anyone. I will definitely go back to try other options! Thanks for a new favorite for my list!Dietary restrictions: They offer a GF bun for an extra $2.50

Absolutely love this restaurant. My partner and I make the drive from Boston specifically to hit up this burger spot and enjoy shopping and sights downtown. We find ourselves craving the poutine and a good burger and will find ourselves driving the hour+ it takes to arrive before the shops close and in time for dinner. Absolutely recommend. Wonderful staff and overall experience

We come here every time we’re in Portsmouth. Never a bad meal. The lettuce wrap for a burger could be more substantial. Two pieces of romaine is too flimsy. I think a slice of iceberg would work better. Great fries and tots. The four horseman burger is supposed to be spicy… it’s not. My wife and I stopped in for dinner. Awesome menu. We had the poutine tots. That's worth it all on its own. We each got a burger. Well cooked and well crafted. Service was attentive and quick. It was a little loud in there and we had a hard time talking across the table. But it could have been our table. I will definitely be back.

Service was excellent but the burgers left a bit to be desired. The meat was high quality but all of them seemed to be a bit too sweet. We got 4 different burgers and even those that were described to be spicier or more savory were on the sweeter side. Fried pickles were outstanding.
Fantastic burgers to be had at BRGR bar. I went for a turkey burger. It did not disappoint. Great service by attentive staff. If you need a burger fix. This is your place.

Good food and service on a cold Sunday afternoon, what else do we need to end the weekend well! The service was amazing(I wish I remembered the server's name). She was kind, patient and very honest with her recommendations. The restaurant itself as well as the restrooms were clean. It is a small cozy restaurant. All the food was we ordered sooo good. The wings, burgers, veggie burger, jackfruit taco, croquettes, fries and Brussel sprouts. I cannot wait to have lunch here again when I am in the area next! Highly highly recommend!!!

Disclaimer the expectations were set high due to the publicity this restaurant has received and they seemed busy, but understaffed. The waitstaff was friendly but they did not seem to have an efficient flow and/or enough staff. The crowd seemed like it was manageable for the size of the physical restaurant but we had long gaps in between our waitress serving us and we had 5 tables that came in after us and got food before us. People next to us even had to have their food to go because it took too long. Of those 5 tables getting food before sus, 2 of tables were able to leave before us. My burger was barely warm and borderline cold when I received it. The fries were warm but nothing special. Personally thought for the price point it wasn’t worth it.
