I have several food allergies and Courtney was great with helping me navigate the menu and also went back and took pictures of the bread and cheese for me so I could make a choice. They have gluten free, dairy free, egg free bread and dairy free cheese. I’m not celiac so cross contamination isn’t an issue for me. They typically put mayo on the bread and Courtney was great in telling me that before hand so they could keep it off the sandwich. I had the pulled pork on gluten free bread with vegan cheese with chips as the side. Both employees working were very nice and attentive. The place is clean and has a nice ambiance to it.

WOW! I was honestly blown away by the vibes of this place, the food was great I do recommend the MAC DADDY grilled cheese it was very enjoyable. I also loved the tomato basil soup which was somewhat spicy. My food was ready within five minutes and was just beyond belief from the moment I took my first bite my mouth was watering. The staff was extremely kind and almost kinda fun to be around! Definitely recommend this place to anyone new to Portsmouth or just visiting to grab a quick bite! Thank you to the staff for making this an enjoyable experience, be back soon!

Best ministrone soup I have ever had! It was thick and bonus, it's vegan!! Grilled cheese was great, thick and had lots of cheese in it. Will definitely be visiting Cheese Louise very often. Highly recommend it.
Courtney was amazing! She was very welcoming and friendly and the food was great. Definitely a great place to grab a snack and a cool place to have a drink!

My friends and I went to this restaurant for the first time. Three of the four of us ordered one drink each (important to note that because this was the first and only drink we had.) We came in because the place looked fun and they had games for us to play. We were playing uno and enjoying our drink having a great time. About an hour later, we were still having a blast playing a game, so we thought why not order another drink. Then, who we think was the owner, said he would no longer serve us due to a "strict policy". Because of this, we just left.Afterwards we were talking about it and were confused, so we decided to call. We called the restaurant asking if we were cut off, or if there were maybe a policy for one drink per person. We were told, "yes, you were cut off." When asked why, we were told, "because we were loud and our faces were flush." It should be noted the restaurant was about 70/80° and one of us has rosacea.We expressed on the phone that one of us was sober and three of us were having our first drink of the day.We would have been more than happy to quiet down if someone was to come over to us to express we were being loud, but not one person came over. Also, note that there was no mention of anyone in the store complaining about us 'being loud', and not one worker came over to express that we were.All in all, we won't be back - not because we were cut off, but because of the lack of transparency and not having a conversation with us. The upsetting part was that we were enjoying a drink, games, and each others' company before this happened.

Cheese Louise was fabulous. We enjoyed our food and playing Yahtzee. Brendan was so nice and helpful. My friend has celiac and felt comfortable eating here. We will be back.
