We had lunch at The Clipper Tavern when we had car trouble and a great employee at Autoworks recommended we eat here. It's a local tavern that has a nice selection of draft beer and a very nice menu, especially for a Tavern. I had Asiago stuffed Gnocchi sauteed with Pancetta, Spinach, mushrooms and onions finished with a Vermouth pan sauce. It was delicious! My wife had a Shaved Ribeye Sandwich. She was happy with her meal also. What a nice place.
Clipper says it’s a bar for locals on its sign, and it is, but we do like out-of-towners, so don’t be afraid:) Clipper recently changed their Happy Hour pricing to include games at any time, so it’s been a really great value lately. Amazing bartenders and staff. Get the cheesesteak egg rolls!
The BEST steak and cheese with peppers and onions that I have had in a very very long time. I think the Bartenders name was Jenny...You were awesome it was fun looking at the 1970 yearbook with you.I will be back .First time I have ever visited it won't be lhe last.We need to support our local pubs.It was my pleasure.
