Decided to try something new with my work crew, and got recommendations that Durbar was great. As soon as I walked in, everyone was super friendly and personable, and the atmosphere was calming and comfortable. The smells and decorations really put me in a good mood and ready to try the food. We ordered a little bit of everything, so we could try as much as possible, and that was without a doubt a great idea because everything (yes everything) was fantastic. Tried all the sides and desserts, and a good variety of the entrees, and my goodness...what a excellent experience, it was legitimately all so delicious, nobody tried anything they didn't like. 100% will be coming back and continuing to spread the word at work because this made our week.Kid-friendliness: While I was there, everyone was very kind and courteous. A younger child came in to pick up some food with her dad and was treated very nicely and respectfully, and engaged with at her level. She seemed super excited to get her rice pudding, and I know why now, it's amazing.

Walk in the door - that’s the kitchen- quiet chefs all waiting or working. Spice level options 1-10. You don’t know 10 unless you are Nepalese! Always love this restaurant- it’s been a while and the food quality is as good as ever! Don’t miss the Yeti cocktail!

This was the atmosphere here. We went for lunch and the decor was fascinating to look at. The food was amazing! We had pork and chicken dumplings with the red tangy sauce. Our server was very attentive and ensured our glasses were always full. I even ask him what the red sauce for the dumplings was and he went downstairs to ask the chef. I hope I can recreate it here at home because it was so flavorful and amazing! 10/10 would recommend!

Between the combination of flavors/spices and the meat being cooked to perfection, you cannot go wrong with any dish on the menu.Just when you think it can't get any better, their rice pudding is to die for!The icing on the cake to all of this is the incredible 5-star service this restaurant provides. They make you feel like you're at home from the second you walk in the door.
Important things first: I'd recommend you try the Chai, Yeti (drink), MoMos and Goat Tarkari!Everything was great!! The waiter (manager?) was super polite and helpful, going way above and beyond and was patient even though there was a picky person in our party that "couldn't eat rice". Our server didn't mind us sharing dishes and was in general very accommodating. The food was delicious!Parking: The meter-maid for the parking was understanding, but be sure the meter machine accepts your card.
Absolutely phenomenal Nepalese food - rivals most of the stuff I had in Nepal. Very unique menu and exceptional service. Would go back and eat goat again!
