Found this little brewery walking around downtown Portsmouth on a rainy day. We had popped into several boutiques to kill time and stay dry, so it was nice to stumble upon a nice watering hole to change things up!My boyfriend and I both got a flight and between the two of us we tried most of the beer on tap. Reasonably priced (I think $12 for 4 beer samples). They had a little of everything and all had a good flavor, there wasn't one that we didn't like. My boyfriend's favorite was the New England Gangsta (IPA) and mine was a sour... I'm the worst and forgot the name but it was a very mild and enjoyable sour that didn't leave you smacking your lips.We didn't try the food, but it all looked good from what was coming out around us. They have a "dog" side of the menu and a "cow" side... I feel like I'd be team hot "dog" if I did get food as those were best looking of all the food coming out!It was a cozy little place with some bar, table and cozy couch/chair seating. Small and intimate. The lady working was super nice and friendly, and checked on us enough but not to the point of annoyance. Loved the service and atmosphere a lot. If I was a local I would definitely frequent this watering hole! So if you are local, not sure what you're doing still reading this review... get your butt off the couch and go quench your thirst here!

I left here very upset based on rude treatment from one member of the staff (I think the manager). We are very accustomed to having an early afternoon beer and food with our group of adult friends and two small children at similar breweries/gastropubs all over New England, but I've never been made to feel like I had to leave. The grumpy manager made a fuss that my kids left 2 toy trucks on the floor and a small corner of an area rug folded up and a member of our party overheard him talking negatively about my family to the bartender. We were in the upstairs area, there were no other parties present and intentionally were trying to stay out of the way because of our children, who are active but have been welcome at dozens of other similar establishments. The bartender was kind, accommodating, flexible, and right on top of everything with our large party. The food was delicious and we would have loved to stay longer to sample another beer, but took our business elsewhere.Do not recommend for families with children.

Fun spot off the beaten path a bit, but very close to the main strip. Delicious creative hot dogs and tasty beer! Absolutely recommend

Saw the ranking and decided to give it a try. Outside was present and gear choice of tunes. Mostly hotdogs and burgers on the menu, but there are so many to choose from. Kiddo was delighted with the plain hot dog and we had the Winnie the Moo. Service was great. Overall, amazing!

Review is for beer only. We stopped in this cute place to sit in their cozy beer garden on a nice sunny day and enjoy a beer. Service was great, and the beer was tasty. I liked being able to get a flight of 4, 4 oz beers to taste. Worth a stop if you're in the area.

As usual, great spot for brews!! They have expanded since I was last here and the quality hasn't suffered from it. Had a couple great brews, had the pretzel and that was really good as well! Still a great, kinda off-the-beaten path kind of place, great and friendly staff, great beers and a good variety of beers (not just IPAs, thankfully)!! Definitely recommend!

There are actually TWO Earth Eagles. The storefront that opens onto the street is a milder, newer incarnation, so if you want the funkier version or the outdoor beer garden, head down the alley. Both spaces offer the same selection of beers, but the funky one was also mixing up pint-sized cocktails. If you're feeling at all peckish, do try a hotdog! Pork, turkey and vegetarian dogs are all the same price; all beef is an upcharge. They have an extensive and imaginative array of toppings; we particularly liked pastrami and sauerkraut and smoked beef with peppers, onions, and melted cheese. Shout out to Glen in the front bar--he's on loan from Portsmouth Brewing while they're closed for repairs, and he's super-knowledgeable about beer and tells some great stories. But all the staff were friendly and fun. Definitely worth the trip!

It you are craving a hot dog then this is your spot! They had lots of unusual but good combos to choose from. My favorite was our appetizer- Goldfish. A child hood favorite and it's still a tasty snack. We sat outside which was a nice area tucked away in the parking lot. Our server was nice and attentive. This was a nice spot. The food definitely hit the spot!

First visit - fun harbor town location - nice outdoor patio with a covered area - indoor bar seating - low ceiling and dark but nice atmosphere - excellent service

Great spot for a burger and beer flight! I absolutely loved the Brethren Code (white coconut stout). It was light, unique, and not overly sweet.Burger was good and the service was friendly. Only con is trying to find parking but that seemed true for the entire area of downtown Portsmouth (it's a cute town; lots of visitors)!

Service and cosy vibe was great. While the menu was limited and quite expensive, the burger I had (with extra goat cheese) was fantastic. We really enjoyed their beer and would absolutely come back here for another.
