Eight Square 八方 - Chinese, Sushi & Bar

We went to eat as a group and the experience was okay for me. It was quiet and the male server was very nice and attentive. The food was average IMO, I like the sushi better than the Chinese food. The Chinese food we ordered either had too much sauce or too bland (Beef Chow Fun). The Angel Eyes sushi was really good and I think we will go back only for the sushi next time.

My husband and I went in tonight and sat at the bar and had Wendy serve us. She was absolutely the sweetest bartender! She makes delicious drinks! Our food came out super quickly and it was scrumptious. We even loved how quiet the setting was and that the music was instrumental and not loud. We will be back for sure!

Our family has loved Eight Square every single time we’ve been! From the drinks to the dumplings, sushi, and everything in between—it’s always fresh, delicious, and consistent. Definitely one of our favorites!

The food is excellent! Even though it's a little bit pricey. But the quality of ingredients makes it worth it.

The staff is incredibly friendly and kind and attentive.

Yeah atmosphere was great. It's very relaxing and romantic. They went all out with their Halloween decorations which was fun.

I've been there before and I'll go there again. :)

We ordered Uber eats all the way to Wells, Maine! Huge menu. My husband loves Chinese and I love sushi so it was perfect for both of us. Although he wasn’t sure what was in the pork fried rice. I tried it and said that’s called fresh vegetables honey. Lol. It was delicious!

I’ve loved every time I’ve dined here. The staff are very kind and put in the extra effort to make it special. The food is excellent, and the menu is expansive. Try the scallion pancakes, pork dumplings, fried rice, miso soup, szechuan tofu, monster roll, toro nigiri, and fried ice cream.

Consistently amazing food. Each time we go we continue to be impressed with the flavors and spot on cooking. Excellent vegan and vegetarian options. Drinks are awesome and nicely presented. Any of the Mai Tais are great. Zombie was great too. Peeps are real nice and accommodating. Parking is easy and free.

We recently visited Eight Square and were pleasantly surprised. The space has been completely redone since it was Shio and it looks nice and updated. The menu is very large with both sushi and Chinese options which made it hard to decide, but our server was patient and attentive while we figured it out. The sushi we ordered was fresh and enjoyable and overall it was a good meal. It is a solid option and we would come back again.

Excellent food and service. Presentation was lovely. Good selection and prices. They put a warming tray under our pot of tea. Daughter said it was the best Asian meal out she's had in a long time. Decor is attractive.
