Great atmosphere, very reasonable prices and great food...our server was spectacular offering us tips and suggestions on places to visit on our vacation in New Hampshire. Can't say enough good things about our visit on Monday Oct 6, 2025 to Fezziwig's!

Came in expecting a weirder vibe but was very happy with the affogato! Smaller space than imagined. Server memorized our order VS entering it into a touchscreen as we talked which was oddly satisfying. Bathroom was about 60F which was also nice on a hot summer day. Wife commented that it was the best Chai Latte she's ever had (it's her go-to). Would visit again when I'm in town!
Beautiful atmosphere however service is the worst I’ve ever experienced in Portsmouth. Not sure if the woman at the front was having a bad day but she made a lot of condescending comments. When we arrived we have never been so we were taking in all the beautiful things on display. The woman never greeted us and simply asked if we were doing takeout or needed a table. My husband stated it was our first time here and we weere still looking. She doesn’t respond but aggressively flips over a menu in front of him. Despite this we stayed (our mistake) while my oldest picked what she wanted my 4 year old grabbed a seat with my husband while we ordered. Keep in mind it’s not busy- there was only one other party seated. It’s a Thursday afternoon so fairly dead. I place my order and she scoffs “so you’re staying then” I said yes please we’ll eat here. She then responds “I see you’re all spread out you need to stay together”. My oldest was standing next to me and youngest again with my husband. I responded “oh we’re still going to sit together my daughter is just here to order with me” she laughs *condescendingly * “Four people at a two top- okay” and rolls here eyes. No offense but what is your deal lol I don’t respond because at this point it seems like she’s just looking for someone to argue with. I hate leaving low star reviews especially for small businesses but this is NOT how you run a business. And then for her to ask for a tip on top of that is obscene. Won’t be coming back which is a shame, it’s truly gorgeous here. Hopefully someone can speak to her about how she treats and speaks to customers.

I’m obsessed with this place! I live hours away from Portsmouth and whenever I’ve had a chance to visit I’m always instantly like “so when can we go to Fezziwig’s? Now? How about now?” The atmosphere is just so precious and magical, and the food/beverages put a smile on your face, and I adore this place with my whole heart.

We went to Fezziwig's Food and Fountain as a part of a scavenger hunt it was affiliated with two of its other sisters location.
Our weekend stay was very short due to a wedding we went to that Saturday afternoon. By the time we were leaving the area, we came across the scavenger hunt on was on a mission to carry through before leaving.
Fezziwig's Food and Fountain was a cutesy, decorative setting with a menu selection of food varieties and desserts to reel in customers.
We stayed for drinks, macarons, and wanted to buy a Fezziwig's mug for the ride home. The dessert and drinks were okay and average. Service was friendly and the waitress was attentive before we left for the next place to go.

We got on a Friday as soon as they opened. We were just walking by. Small place that serves sandwiches, coffee, teas, and milkshakes. The food hit the spot.

The pastry’s and tea look good but I wouldn’t go there for lunch.

Really nice place with French Japanese cafe vibe
I would jsut get a shake at the breakfast place off portland circle by the hotels rather than this. PArking expesnive n streets a maze. The presentation was cool with come oreo around the glass rim and one in the whipped cream. Shake was ok but same or better liek I said can be gotten almost anywhere which was a let down since my friend specifically chose this palce since it was on some list as best shake in postmouth. NOPE it wasn't. Place was also a litle cramped. Service was nice.
Great food a dessert I recommend it
Greatly enjoyed stopping in. Such a fun vibe with the seasonal decor. Great drinks and light snacks to pick from.
Great place on a cold winters day. The interior is cozy and beautifully decorated during the holidays. I ordered tea and a 3 teir tea tray (included tea sandwiches, scone/jam/cream, and desserts) all were great. The server was slighlty stand-off-ish, but a great experience.
