I came here mid-afternoon on a Friday while visiting the area and just needed a pick-me-up. My cappuccino was strong and high-quality.. just what I needed.. zero complaints. They have a solid menu of breakfast foods and more interesting drinks, too. It's a relatively small space inside, and it was at capacity that afternoon. Nice historic building, good coffee and tasty pastries but surprisingly chaotic to pick up your order. They don’t take names or call out numbers, they yell out the coffee type. another customer picked up my latte and appeared to take a sip before they told him it wasn’t his order. Use the Starbucks model and add a name or number to avoid this type of situation
I've been coming in here consistently for 3.5 years now. As much as Portsmouth changes, this place has been my constant for coffee runs, remote work sessions, quick bites, and even first dates. The staff are always so inviting and the coffee is some of the best in town. Everything is reasonably priced and the vibes are immaculate no matter the weather or season.
