The Keller, Pale and IPA beers are top notch offerings. Taking some home. Keep up the great work. The food, the cubano, best I've had in a hundred years. Top Notch.
I'll be back to this spot for sure

We had a great stop here. The pretzels were delicious and the beer was great! Staff was awesome!

This is a great brewpub. They have exceptional beers at reasonable prices. Great atmosphere, with an outside area for when weather permits. In England, every neighborhood has its "local" and this place reminds me of that, except its not a "faux" British pub, its a real local watering hole. I like that families with children bring them here, very relaxed and informal, with a limited menu of snacks that go well with their brews.

A beloved local spot with great staff. Relaxing place to stop for a beer, with a mix of regular taps and rotations. The food is a step above pub grub with a weekly special.
The beer garden is the perfect place for a lunch time beer and sandwich, or a drink with friends on a warm evening.

Stopped off here for a couple of Beers. It was very toasty. The place has a wonderful indoor/outdoor space. If you really want to be outside you can sit in a fenced in area outside. Folks working there tend to you regardless of your choice of seating. Another great one. The beer was tasty and the staff was super knowledgeable. Check it out of you have time in the area.

We’re so glad we hosted welcome drinks for our wedding at Liar’s Bench! Excellent food and drinks! Working with Erin was great - clear and responsive communication. Everyone who staffed our event provided fantastic service. They were flexible with the weather and last minute changes too. Highly recommend. Recently stopped by around the time of our first anniversary for a meal and it was just as great!

I’m Severely allergic and also terrified of dogs, and there are lots of dogs on the patio, which is objectively fine. When we asked, the waiter mentioned that service dogs were allowed on the patio. Basically he tried to say that people’s pets were all “service dogs” because that’s what they had as a permit per the health inspector. These clearly weren’t service dogs because many were barking and jumping and there was a literal trash can full of dog waste outside the patio. Great if you love dogs but not everyone loves them, also kinda sketchy with the health codes.
Edit: the response below implies that we were rude to the waitstaff which is not accurate, they politely asked that we abide by the policy and we immediately did so. We also said thank you and left a tip because that’s the right thing to do and of course they don’t make the rules, they were communicating them. I believe it's worth noting that dogs cause more injuries to people each year than any other pet as well as zoonotic diseases such as giardia. This statistic highlights a common bias towards certain animals, often based more on cultural perceptions than on factual safety. I hope that this business will re-think what “community” means to them. Where is the line drawn? are cats allowed on the patio? Hamsters? Do you make sure there are no birds on the patio as well? Why are fake service dogs okay? This also brings up the issue of fake service dogs and how much they harm folks with disabilities and those who actually need service dogs. I respect dogs and don’t think you should bar them from your facility, but the policy seems unfair across the board.

Liars Bench Beer Company in Portsmouth, NH for a flight & a full pour on a Tuesday early afternoon. Love me some Liars Bench, been here a few times before this trip, but not for a hot minute. Definitely a staple of the Portsmouth brewery scene for awhile, they stand out with pretty accessible styles ranging from your traditional fare, hazy beers & some different styles you don't see a lot. A couple of their more known beers & one's I've enjoyed in the past are YOUNG UPSTART American IPA & LOVE DUCK Pale Ale, both excellent additions to those alike styles. I've always enjoyed my time here, but this is the first time I got to go alone, sit inside & really enjoy the beer. I had previously had a good amount on the menu, but was able to find five different beers I hadn't tried. ??

I'll go over the five beers I had this trip. The first of the flight was PUPPY PAGEANT Blonde Ale which was a good above average blonde, (no offense meant) followed by my second taster the PURPLE GRAIN Fruited Sour which was just okay IMO. The third of the flight was the SOFT & LOVELY Wheat which I really enjoyed & I'm still not a huge fan of wheats or witbier yet, but this was excellent. Then the last was LITTLE SISTER which was a good hazy New England IPA. I finished off my trip with a full can pour of the GOLDEN KNOME Bock which was delicious & was the favorite of this trip. ??

It's a small taproom, but they have bar seating & tables. The patio is definitely where it's at though & where I would usually be forced to sit when I came with friends previously. (Sounds horribly dirty) The hot dog, which I rarely get, but seem to be the go to brewery snack on the seacoast, was really good & better than the usual mystery meat fare served elsewhere. The beertender Matt was super cool & talked beer with me for a few which is always fun & appreciated. Also was nice enough to take a good pic of me, which was nice since I usually look like my picture was taken by a war photographer. Great spot, definitely go, good beer, fun people & theres a lot in the area as well. ???☘

Love this place! Aside from the fact that every beer I have sampled is excellent, the falafel was the best I have ever had. And I have had a lot of falafel. Check it out.

No lie, this place is great for grabbing a bite and a brew while on vacation. More than your typical pub grub, we enjoyed the outdoor seating, and the staff was helpful with a few samples to select the right pour. Cheers!

A small micro brewery with a back yard fit behind a plumbing store. It has a rustic but relaxed feel..like your sitting at your cool friend's backyard or mancave.

I know it’s subjective, and a matter of opinion, but this is the best beer I’ve had in New Hampshire. The Pilsner is crisp and delicious. We ended up taking home a pack of “Slurps Up” which was also amazing. Great hotdogs too. Service and atmosphere could have been better, but the beer made it all worth it. Great job!

Liars Bench Beer Co is recommended. Top location if you are in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Nice little beer garden outside, nice inside too. Staff very friendly. There is a good selection of beer. You can't complain about the taste either. A bit hidden, I'd love to come back
