The building is beautiful, the service outstanding and the meat we were served was perfectly cook, tender and delicious. The side of scalloped potatoes arrived hot, just crusty enough and again delicious. This is our second visit and everything we've been served has been memorable.

I truly love this place.. Yes it is a bit of a pricy night out, but the food and atmosphere are top notch. There is another 'chain' steakhouse that tries to pull off the high end feel, but it does not compare to the Library. My wife and I went for date night, and everything was great. Michael was an amazing bartender, and I tried his cocktail 'The Natural' which was a bourbon based drink with hints of root beer from the types of bitters used.. It was an amazing drink.
I started with some oysters, and then for dinner I got the bone in Cowboy cut ribeye, and it was cooked to perfection.. A perfect medium rare, with a side of truffle fries, resulted in an amazing dinner..
The lounge is the best place to sit in my opinion. It is a bit smaller, and you get a great view of the bar.. It was not cold enough for the fireplace to be on, but the atmosphere was great. Looking forward to my next visit!

This is one of my favorite restaurants and costs probably 4x as much. The food is worth every penny. While I do miss the crab cocktail, every other item has not disappointed. My only complaint is thar despite our very generous tipping, we'll over 20, the servers treat us like we're not going to Tip at all.

Where to begin! We rented the boardroom for our small intimate wedding ceremony & dinner on a Saturday in October. The atmosphere, the florals (thank you Anne!), the service (shoutout the Nicoles, no H!), everything was absolutely perfect. The food was good and drinks were fantastic as well. I could not have been happier with the experience and would recommend to anyone. We can’t wait to go back and sit in the lounge!

Decent pricing, $215-$300 for 2. Liquor is accurately priced, I got a Dusse and lemonade for $12 I believe. Nice date spot, no need to overdress in the winter, the fireplaces are a nice touch.

Had a reservation for 8:45 last night got there, 10 minutes early, and expected to have to wait maybe 15 20 minutes. The two hostesses up front said that a table was opening up and they would come grab us when its ready so I went outside and waited 30 minutes, in the cold, saw multiple parties leave and a few go in. So I went inside and asked how much longer and they said 5 minutes, and that we could stand inside. So im standing inside and im looking at a table for two that is empty getting cleaned up thinking of cool my table, nope they gave ot to some random couple that strolled inn not even waiting. So now im pretty fed up with this but didnt express it, im standing in this crowded hallway just completely in the way and after another 10 minutes we finally get a table (40 minutes of waiting total, 30 passed reservation). The server was realy nice and ontop of things, I realy want to emphasize that because none of this was his fault. We get some drinks and they were great, the food came and it was OK not amazing but not terrible. Just kinda mid, before im even done eating I ask for the check because I have spent about 340 dollars on mid food and just wanna get outta there, the waiter asked if there was anything wrong, I said no and tipped him like 50 bucks. So bottom line if you like atmosphere, it has that but service is very much laking in the hostesses department and food was mid.
Lovely evening at the Library. The staff was welcoming and provided good service. The interior is spectacular - it really feels.like dining in a beautiful old.library.
Understanding it is all about steak, as a vegetarian dining with carnivores, it would have been nice to have at least a small selection of meatless options.

We ordered the lobster Mac, steak and crab cakes. The portions were large and the amount of meat in the Mac and the crab cakes was generous. Everything came out in a timely fashion and the staff was very kind
When we first got there our table wasn't quite ready .although we only waited two minutes they were so apologetic and kind, they gave us dessert for free which was also so delicious - peanut butter pie and chocolate mousse
Great spot! Definitely recommend for anyone stopping through town

We had a wonderful experience at The Library. It's a beautiful place, very upscale and classically charming. We had a wonderful server, after the bartender initially took our drink orders. The food was delicious, the cocktails and wine were great, and the service was terrific. Highly recommend the library

Our server, Leah, was amazing! So thoughtful, attentive, and knowledgeable. We were celebrating our engagement and she went above and beyond. We sat outside and it couldn’t have been more perfect.
