So disappointed! Made a reservation a month ago, looked forward all month to trying the chicken sandwich. Went to order…OUT OF CHICKEN. Really?? How do you run out of chicken??! Insane. On a Friday night?? What we did order was good but it would take a lot to get me to return. The service was great as was the menu, but it’s inexcusable to run out of something on a Friday night around the holidays.
Delicious and original
Really great selections!

Fun vibe with a really interesting and great food/drink menu. Lots of great small plate options to share. Our bartender was SO friendly and helpful in ordering, too. Definitely our favorite food place we visited in Portsmouth.

Emma was very attentive and even apologized for the small delay it took for the Gnocchi to arrive. Her service was greatly appreciated.
Every plate was a wonder of taste and both cocktails I ordered were excellent. Highly recommended.

We were at Moxy to celebrate a birthday and it more than lived up to expectations. It's important to know what to expect at Moxy to fully enjoy the experience. It's tapas so the portions are small but meant to share. We had a party of 7 and collaborated on the order so we had a variety of items to try. This is the fun of Moxy, we passed the plates around and compared notes on our selections. The food was excellent and we left full and happy. Stand outs were the beets (much to my surprise), steak, chicken sliders, and an heirloom tomato salad. Drinks were great too.
Wonderful place for drinks and tapas. Nice atmosphere and wonderful bartender. We just stopped for drinks and snack before a show at the Music Hall. Told the bartender about the time constraints and they were able to accommodate
Top level.

This place was awesome!! We thoroughly enjoyed every plate that we tried. The patatas bravas and gnocchi were my favorite. My boyfriend loved the calamari and Bolognese. The forest flower cocktail was one of the best drinks I've had in a while, it was made perfectly. We finished with the whoopie pie sliders which were absolutely to die for!! All of the servers were very friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect for a cozy date night. Definitely make a reservation if you're looking to go, without one you will likely have to sit at the bar (which we wanted to do anyway and were happy with). We can't wait to go back!!

I recently ate at Moxy, and the food was so good. It's one of the best places I've been to in a while.
What's cool is that all the plates are small and meant for sharing, so you can try a lot of different stuff.
The steak was amazing. It was cooked perfectly and tasted so good. It was tender and juicy, just how I like it.
My favorite part was the fried cauliflower. It was not battered at all, just cooked until it was super crispy. It tasted so good, and the sauce that came with it was awesome. I could have eaten a whole plate of it myself!
I had a great time at Moxy. The food was delicious, and I would definitely go back. You should try it!

I tried calling to book a table and the receptionist was so rude that it detered me from even going to the place! You should fire your receptionist Emma unprofessional and will cost you many clients if she treats all clients like she treated me
Great interesting small plate dishes.

Loved the tapa style food. Can choose may options to try and share with group of 4. Our favs were the vegetarian dishes, mussels and calamari. The steak and pork belly was a bit over and dry.

American style tapas (small plates) - not a knock by any means - just prepare for that when you choose this spot. Great way to experiment and explore the menu. Beyond the food, well crafted cocktails in a trendy spot. Good vibes for sure
