We named the mouse Timothy. Shortly after being sat near where the music was going to play later in the evening, we spotted a little grey mouse running along the wall and climbing into the booth seats. We informed our waitress and she said that she let her manager know. For the next hour and a half, we watched this mouse run along walls, under other people's tables and under our legs. We did our best to scare him away from our table by kicking the empty seat at our table whenever he came by while we were having our dinner. Thankfully there was enough pizza crust and mussel shells on the floor to keep him occupied. On our way out, I quietly asked the hostess to get the manager to tell them about our experience. Apparently, our waitress was the manager and only had "I'm really sorry" to say. Now, we chose not to tell the other guests that there was a mouse under their feet to try and be as respectful of others as possible, and didn't expect someone to run around after the mouse like an old timey cartoon but they didn't even ask if we were uncomfortable and would like to change seats. Just left us there, kicking the chair to scare away the mouse as we ate. They truly did not seem concerned about the situation at all.

Awful pizza, not Italian in any way. It was rectangular with uncooked cheese and a burnt crust. Service was very slow and unattentive. Thoroughly overpriced drinks. Avoid this place like the plague!

We hosted our rehearsal dinner and wedding welcome party at Napoletana Pizzeria in October, and it was an exceptional experience. The general manager, Ryan, was the most accommodating and flexible manager we encountered while exploring options for our pre-wedding events. His professionalism and willingness to work with us were key reasons we chose Napoletana. Throughout the entire process, Ryan was a pleasure to work with. Later in the planning, we met Roberta, their events coordinator, who was equally terrific!

The restaurant boasts a great atmosphere and was able to accommodate our group comfortably. They also have a band that plays later in the night, which really capped off the welcome party for us. I highly recommend Ryan and his team for your next event or even if you're just looking for a spot to enjoy dinner and drinks.

This place deserves 10 stars! Oh my god I can’t get over how AMAZING this restaurant is!!!
The food, the service the atmosphere.
All beyond perfect!
My wife and I had the most amazing dinner.
The menu may come off as small, but, if you’re in the business of cooking YOU KNOW that the smaller the menu the greater the craft.
They definitely made every dish we ordered to perfection.

My recommendation, don’t be afraid to try something out of your comfort zone.

You will not be disappointed!!!!

This place is adorable inside. The door was open so it was cold and a lot of flies. Unfortunately the food left a lot to be desired. The cacio e pepe was one of the worst I’ve ever tried. Hanger steak was not good. Pizza wasn’t bad. Maybe an off day.

Went to this restaurant with my girlfriend servers were kind of rude. Our server only checked on us twice the entire night and after we were finished eating, she brought us to boxes, but did not think to bring us the check until we had to walk around the restaurant and find her 30 minutes later. we got home and my girlfriend has food poisoning now, so overall, I would not go to this restaurant if you value your time and your health.

We were denied our 6:30p reservation despite showing proof of reservation via Toast. The hostess did not see us on her computer and would not honor. We were offered a spot on the waitlist behind a long line, so we left. The atmosphere looked great. Can't speak to food. Disappointed in customer service and being told our patronage was not as important as the long line waiting.

Great pizza portion for the price, and it tastes so good!! One of easy lunch places in downtown Portsmouth. I love the outdoor seating as well. Will come back!

The food was so great. Very eurpoean offerings, which I love. Happy hour prices amazing. I think they were possibly short staffed, but no matter l, we were not in a rush. I'll be back again!

Got seated and 20 minutes of no one coming had to request a waitress or waiter come to the table for our order. We ordered a salad and a margarita pizza. The salad came 15 minutes later and was very bland ( no taste ) 10 minutes later the pizza comes out ( so a total of 25 minutes later) and is was cold. I firmly believe the wait staff is very understaffed. The management should take the responsibility that if you want your customers to come back that you have enough staff to take care of their customers. We ended up walking out without eating our food. Very disappointing.

This place is gross. Hockey puck meatballs, sausage broccoli pasta that tastes like watered down microwave veggies. We did not even try the pizza, how disappointing for the price

Ok so this is tricky. We were in New Hampshire on vacation for a few days and while in Portsmouth, decided to try this cute little Italian restaurant, Napoletana Pizzeria and Bar.

The outside seating area is the cutest I've seen in a while and gives off European vibes. Outside tables nestled on the corner of the street, decorated by plants and flowers.

The inside looks like an old bar that has not seen any light in years. The split in decor is astonishing.

We ordered a few specialties, amongst them a flatbread pizza, chicken Parmesan, pasta with shrimps and scallops, and mushroom raviolis.

The pasta is fresh and there is no doubt about that. The food lacked soul and Italian spices.

The shrimp and scallop pasta dish had 0 taste. The only thing I could discern was the taste of fresh pasta ...nothing else.

Chicken Parmesan was great, that's a 5 ⭐

The mushroom raviolis were awful. Raviolis were hard in the middle and the taste of mushrooms was hardly noticeable. I counted 5 or 6 big raviolis.

Pizza was delish.

So overall, and aside from the great staff service, food was Meh! I had high expectations from a high footprint place like this one and I was greatly disappointed.

At this point, just call it pizzeria and bar...

I will not come back.
