The food here is usually very good, but I am not happy with today's experience.
I ordered the BBQ bacon burger with onions added. I received the burger with no onions or onion rings. After bringing it to their attention they offered to remake it. This time I got the onion rings, but still no onions.
They were clearly rushing and not reading the order, which was clear on the ticket.
I really love their selection of pastries and lunch items, and their apple cider donut maple whoopie pies are delicious.
We placed a catering order with The Common Man Roadside - Portsmouth for their Fiesta package for 30 people. The quality and quantity of the food was exceptional. We have plenty of leftovers and no one went hungry today or will go hungry tomorrow in the office! The service was amazing as well. The delivery associate was fast, courtesy, extremely friendly, prompt and professional. We will definitely use them again. Thank you to all who worked on our order today!
Food was fine, but they added loud forced advertisements that you can't mute to their pumps, absolutely not.
I used Common Man Roadside for my catering needs and they were wonderful! The food was delicious and plentiful! We ordered the steak tips and Statler chicken and my guests commented favorably on all of it! I highly recommend them!
Great atmosphere and food! Staff was amazing !
Love this place. Always clean, super awesome staff, delicious food and between you and I - the little brunette Shannon - is the sweetest. So friendly and helpful! Thanks Jimmy and team for being awesome!
I've usually had a better experience but I had the most underwhelming fruit cup it was slimy and wet and very mushy it was so gross it also made everything in it taste like Honeydew and I only had seven dollars to spend but it costed FIVE TWENTY FIVE FOR A UNDERWHELMING FRUIT CUP 😱
And also side note it was going to expire in three days so the watermelon in it was dissolving will come again but FOR REAL DON'T GET THE FRUIT CUP!!!
Stopped for gas on way back to office. I always loved the restaurant, so I thought I'd try the Roadside version at Irving across from Water Country in Portsmouth. I got the Chicken sandwich with Lettuce, tomatoes and pickles on a brioche bun. With a little mustard, salt and pepper added, it was great. The one thing I would suggest is to make sure to take lots of napkins as the ones from the dispenser are very, very thin. The food is so juicy you need extras!
Great spot. Love a common man

The food is mid but the prices are not. I had the burger pictured. It was fine, but not for the price being charged.
The location is inconvenient, so good luck taking a left out of the parking lot. All in all, it's fine. Just a shame it's so expensive. I'm fine eating diner food, but these ain't diner prices.
Pastry selection is pretty good and reasonably priced. However, the coffee is ridiculously expensive for what it actually is (mediocre, just okay).
Stopped there while in Portsmouth and got lunch. Food was amazing! Very friendly staff also.
great dessert!! people were super friendly
I'm upset about how amazing the snack selection is, as well as informing me they have gluten free pizza crust earlier today. I guess that means it'll be a fat girl summer!
