I found The Golden Egg early one morning as I was in the area for the sun rise and TGE was one of the only places open at 6am. And I am GLAD they were because from the moment we walked in it was just the goodest welcoming atmosphere and the waitstaff immediately greeted us and BOOM we were seated. We took a bit longer to order because it was hard to choose from all the Goodness on the menu ☺ and was barely a wait for the food to be brought to our Mouthsss 😋 and when the bill came for the 2 of us.....was like $26, like....that's all?? Awesome bc then I got to give our awesome Server Gal the tip she deserves. DEFINITELY will come back to TGE and tellin' all my peeps to get there for the yummiest breakfast EVAHHHH

My wife and I spent the weekend in Rye and we were looking for a nice breakfast spot. And this place was perfect!! Delicious food, really good coffee, impeccable service and a comfortable atmosphere. We also ordered lunch to go and that was also very delicious. The price of both breakfast and lunch together was not expensive at all, and the quality for the price was out of this world. We will be back whenever we’re in the area again!!

I’ve been to The Golden Egg several times for breakfast with friends. The food is always great and the staff are always friendly. I decided to order something different during my most recent visit. I ordered the Breakfast Club Sandwich on sour dough toast with home fries. I’ve never seen this on any breakfast menu at other establishment.It was delicious. I will definitely order this again.
