Every bite was a delight from start to finish. I stopped here with my mom and kids while traveling in the area, but if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be a regular.
I can get a bit judgmental about bars, but the cocktail I had here was amazing. They infuse their own alcohols in house, and the drink was complex and delicious. They also made a Shirley Temple for my kid who is getting interested in cocktails.
I'd perused the menu beforehand, and was torn between the Apu burger and the sweet potato burger. When my mom ordered the sweet potato, I said that was great because we could share. There was no sharing. After the first bite, I devoured the entire thing. Even the coleslaw seemed elevated.
We enjoyed patio seating on a sunny day. Inside seemed busy, but our server, Hunter, was attentive and made us feel welcomed.
I'd highly recommend this place to anyone in the area.

We were looking for a place downtown but couldn't find anything and parking downtown was rough. We ended up at the kitchen and it was perfect! The drinks were super good and the food was amazing! It was a sandwich shop but with a twist! We also brought my 19 month old that had a blast!

I went here for the first time today in my break from work with 3 of my coworkers. There was only 3 people in the whole restaurant sitting at the bar. the blonde girl who worked there told us, usually they don’t allow people to eat their pick up orders in the restaurant. We, of course didn’t know that and only ordered ahead because we are on our break. She then snatched my coworkers trash off the table from next to him with an attitude and made us so uncomfortable we were only there for less than 5 minutes before we just decided to leave. I personally will never be going back. She wasn’t polite at all, she could have just asked us politely to leave and say it was against there policy instead of creating an uncomfortable environment for everyone in the restaurant.

Here's the thing - the burger itself was pretty good. A bit on the smaller side so there was a few all bun bites, but no big deal. Because the bartender was excellent, attentive, and chill. The drinks were strong, the food was good, no complaints. Glad I had it.

Excellent, high quality, clever, and delicious food served at this small family-feeling place. Very friendly, informative, and attentive staff. Great craft cocktails with a skilled bartender. Tasty sandwiches and burgers, and the fried potato cones are a must. Visited from out-of-town, and am looking forward to another reason to come back to Portsmouth to eat here again. 5 of 5, would recommend.
