First the positive—our server was wonderful. Very attentive and great attitude. I ordered a gin blossom cocktail and it was delicious. Now the negative—the shrimp and sausage risotto was terrible. We are talking airline quality. Overly salted risotto and only 2 shrimp (two!!). The sausage could’ve been mistaken for mushrooms—tasteless, flat and brown. At $26 I was hoping for a lot better. Ross’s used to be good but not so much tonight.

I had the Seared Salmon and Brocolli. Best Salmon I've ever had. The children's menu cheese pizza was fantastic and much better than the children's menu spaghetti that we ordered. They were willing to take substitutions without complaint. Overall, nice atmosphere with good food. If you have the money to spend (we had 2 adults and 2 children for $100), it's a nice place.

My boyfriend and I joined my cousin and her family for dinner. Mine was very good! Homemade spaghetti and eggplant and he got a pizza. Was supposed to be a spicy meatball. Didn't have a whole lot of meat and wasn't spicy. He thought it was fair.

We were fortunate to make a reservation at Rosa for a large party of 22, for a busy Saturday evening. Our eager group arrived a tad early, and they were still able to seat us ahead of our reservation start time. Kali was our server and was so efficient and pleasant for the entire evening. The food came out quickly, correctly, and served to the right person. This restaurant is a well-oiled machine, with a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Thank you for a wonderful evening!

Pretty good food in a beautiful environment. House wine was not great, but the house salad was terrific. Eggplant parm was just ok but the sauce was excellent. So... pick wisely and you'll do well. Service was very good.

Me and my wife went to rosas last night for our anniversary for a Quick meal. It was hands down the best dinner I have had in years and years the wait staff was absolutely amazing there no wait time at all plenty of seating options the drinks were amazing and for being in downtown portsmouth spending under 100 bucks I couldnt even believe it. Seriously was the best meal I've had in a long time. Compliments to the chef he made amazing dishes for my wife and and the wait staff was absolutely perfect and always seemed to appear at the perfect time. For sure will be coming back everyday if I could

Service and atmosphere were great. Had a reservation and was seated easily. Fried calamari to start was tasty. I had high hopes but our entrees didn't match the rest of the experience, overcooked and flavorless. Wouldn't really recommend it but worth giving it a try.
