I keep going back for the Aurora blue herbal tea, my absolute favorite! Worth buying the tea ball so you can effortlessly scoop and seep your tea at the bottom of the cup. Great selection of local teas and spices, a welcomed addition to Portsmouth! I just wish there was a spot to sit and have a cup of their tea and spiced goods nearby!

The shop is in a great location. The storefront is small, but the staff is incredibly knowledgeable about tea and spices. There are a range of products that are all incredible. I got 4 different kinds of tea and am beyond happy with my purchase. I feel stupid because I have waited so long to try this spot. If you are in the area and want to get some good spice mixes or loose teas, do yourself a favor and try it out. Mike helped me out and he was amazing. He walked me through many of their products and gave me some recommendations. Again, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My friend and I came across this place while walking to our breakfast spot. They weren't open yet, so we stopped in after we ate. We're so glad we did. It's an amazing store. The young woman up front was extremely friendly and helpful. Not sure of her name, but she had glasses and was wearing a mask. She's definitely very knowledgeable about teas. (Which I'm a huge tea drinker) My friend also loves it. We each purchased some loose leaf teas and also got a beautiful mug that you can seep your tea in. Im drinking jasmine tea out of it right now and it's very delicious. The other woman working was also very friendly. We definitely plan on stopping back in when we're in the area. Thanks so much ladies.

What a great shop! If you are a tea lover this is the place. Infused sugar, special blends and a tea bar makes this establishment a must stop when in Portsmouth. Riley the enthusiastic girl who greets you on entry is their resident evangelist proclaiming the merits of the products. Her contagious positivity would make even coffee drinkers switch to tea. Mike and Bec who ran the tea bar were knowledgeable, courteous and only added to the experience. Stop in, say hi have a cup of tea and remember Christmas is just around the corner, so get some shopping in early.

She lives in Maine, I’m in Michigan and what a treat it is to drink the best tea, and use coastal spices for my fresh Lake trout & whitefish! I know she’s been back there because she sends me tea from the shop.

I had an amazing time at The Spice & Tea Exchange! The staff was incredibly friendly and gave me awesome explanations about their tea selection, helping me find the perfect tea for my needs, like sleeping, studying, and relaxing. They also offer a variety of other products like salt, sugar, and spices, although I didn't have enough time to check them out. The tea bar was a highlight, where you can buy and sample different teas. This place is a paradise for tea, spice, and salt lovers, and the prices were great too! Perfect spot for unique gifts. Highly recommend paying them a visit!

The Spice & Tea exchange is a MUST visit when you are in Portsmouth. This tiny shop is packed with custom blended spices, teas, salts and sugars. The staff is very engaging and knowledgeable, they all clearly enjoyed working here. We took our time in the store looking at the substantial amount of options to pick from, making sure to smell the jars of each item we were looking to purchase. We got several bags of looseleaf teas and flavorful sugars, along with some items to enjoy tea we purchased as a gift. Every time we come we enjoy it even more. Can't wait to visit again to replenish our supplies.
