The food was okay. I was really craving a Pho. I was expecting it to be hot since it was so cold but it wasn't hot. The Padthai is okay. It took a while to serve the food.

We love the food at Papaya Thai! We have only gotten take out for the last few years due to the pandemic, but finally decided to eat in. The dining room is very poorly set up. There are odd sized tables arranged in a strange way and the lighting is way too bright. Appetizer plates were actually tiny little cup saucers, which was also odd and hard to eat off of. While the food was good, as always, the atmosphere was very awkward and uncomfortable. They could make the space more inviting by rearranging tables and dimming the lighting. We will continue to get take out but most likely won't be back to dine in.

Pictured here is the green curry w/chicken and the curry puff. The curry puff is so flaky and full of flavor that every single bite of it is great with the sauce. The curry is good as well but I do wish they cut the chicken a little smaller. I’m holding this piece with a large tablespoon and it’s a mouthful. I like to grab a piece of protein and another thing whether it be rice or veg and the chicken pieces are just too big for that. I order takeout so I can’t speak to the service dining in, but they’re always very nice and serve the food hot.

I feel bad for leaving a one star but honestly this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I got the appetizer sampler and the only good thing on the plate was a chicken drum. The crab Rangoon tasted sour and rotted, I had to spit it out on my plate it was so rancid. Our waitress took 10 minutes to even get our drinks but in all fairness she was the only one working there for whatever reason. I’ve seen a lot of five stars looking through the reviews and it has me wondering if people are crazy, lying, or just came in on a good day.

Passing through town and stopped at Papaya Thai for lunch and was not disappointed. We had Green Thai Curry (green pepper, string bean, bamboo shoot, and basil in coconut milk with green curry paste) W/ chicken & white rice ($14.95) and Lo Mein Noodles (pan-fried egg noodles in dark soy sauce with a combination of vegetables) and chicken ($13.95.)Both dishes were delicious and served hot (temp). The chicken in both dished were a bit on the tough side. Service was friendly and prompt. Cute little place with a handfull of tables, decorated in traditional Thai decor.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian optionsKid-friendliness: YesParking: On our day of visit, Thursday, at 2 pm there were plenty of parking spaces availableWheelchair accessibility: No

Had this years ago and finally just stopped in again-just as delicious as I remember! The Pho is amazing. I wish the garnishes came on a separate plate though! The crab Rangoons are definitely more on the crabby side. Tofu drunken noodle was the star of the meal for me! So good we didn’t get a pic. Will definitely be back

Their food is SO good! Love it. One of my favorite restaurants in Rochester. I think they’re only doing take-out but before Covid, it was nice atmosphere too. Looking forward to sitting down for a meal in there again…

Had lunch at Papaya Thai and it was off the charts delicious. I had papaya salad spice level 5 out of 1-5, and it was definitely very spicy, but also very crushable. My son had the fried dumplings and the filling was outstanding. My husband had Pad Mee Krob with duck and it knocked our socks off. Hands down the most delicious meal I've had in a very long time!!
