Love love love thier chicken Larb. They know what they're doing in that kitchen. Owner is so pleasant and always with a smile. Good stuff!

Exceptional menu and I've never tried anything I didn't like in the 5+yrs I've eaten here. All time favorite is the drunken noodle plate!

Good is always absolutely amazing

In the last 5 months I have been here twice. Once to dine in and once for takeout. Both times we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to be served. I'm not sure how many people work here but I have only seen 1 person working during the dinner rush. When you're told your food will be ready to pickup in 30 minutes, you should not be waiting an extra hour after you get there.

Not very attentive I was pretty much her only other customer and she never checked on me and when I was ready to take the check it took some time good food though.

Such a pretty, quaint little place. Authentic Thai food, good sized menu, great variety. Cozy as can be, and even though the service is often just the SUPER pleasant owner, food doesn't take long and is always seasons perfectly. Highly recommend for a date or quiet dinner with friends. And if this hasn't sounded perfect enough, it's BYOB.

Absolutely hands down the best Thai food I have ever had!

Food was great. Portions reasonable. Prices good. Only one server working so service wasnâ??t great. Would go again!

Liked it but it's definitely New England style Thai food. (Little bland) Fortunately you can always add plenty of Sriracha and if you are feeling brave ask for "Thai spicy instead of Farang". Enjoyable meal and portions are HUGE. BYOB is a nice surprise.

I love this place. To be honest I can't say that I've had Thai food at a bunch of different places but I have enjoyed every meal I have had at Papaya Thai.

We came here with a big group of kids. They were very accommodating and the food was great!!!

First time here but the food is great! The portions were good, the menu was diverse, and we'll definitely be making frequent return visits.

Pretty good, not the best. They have messed up our order a few times and the pad Thai is far better at Eastern Paradise but for Rochester, we're lucky to have two Thai restaurants and it could be much worse!

Yes. More please.

I love this Thai food! The mango peanut fried rice! Send it! I like the owner too.

I had shrimp Pad Thai, very good, generous portion, leftovers for dinner. My wife had sampler platter for 1. The satay, chicken wing, egg roll and shrimp roll were very good. Money bag and crab rangoon, not so much so.Doesn't seem handicap accessible, front steps pretty steep. Didn't see a ramp.We were the only ones there at 1PM.

Great selection of food.

I thought the food was good, not as tasty as I thought the dish i ordered would be. My biggest complaint is that the online menu states that they have beef satay, and they no longer do ð??¦ The girl at the front was very nice though ð???

The first time we ate here, we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. We try to get back there whenever we are in the area and in the mood for Thai food. The restaurant is cozy and the wait staff are very friendly. . We especially like the Pho, Larb, Thai Red Curry with Shrimp, Pad Thai and Rad Na. They do not serve alcohol, but you can bring your own at no charge. Highly recommended!

A favorite place. Have been very happy with the delicious food and large menu over the years. Service each time we've eaten there has been amazing. Good atmosphere, plessant spacing, easy parking.

Good food and lots of great pho options

Sidehop

The Pho here is quite delicious. Has a really rich flavor and the XL size is definitely for anyone with a huge appetite. At first, the service was a little slow as I believe the staff was short handed but by the time we got our food we saw two other employees with one person who was very attentive with our water and made us feel better. We'll definitely come back here soon. Excellent price and service overall.

It looks like a few people caught them off of their A game but I'm telling you, this place is AAAMMMAAAZZZIIINNNGGG! Very, very, very good food!

The food is always awesome here! I usually order the Triple Delight with seafood. They seem to do more takeout business versus dining in - they have a small dining room but it's nice. Their prices are reasonable. Only downside is that they do not serve alcohol but they do offer Thai tea which is always delicious!

Food is pretty good, standard thai options. Always a very small staff trying to multitask, one person running dining, take out, register etc so expect slow service. One person cooking so don't expect to get your food together if you are dining with someone. They did not renew their liquor license so limited drink options =sodas and water or tea. The place is small but clean, there is around six or so tables in the dining area and two in what used to be the bar. They could much better utilize the space now. The prices are a little high for being skimpy with the meat but standard for the type of cuisine. They do a lot of takeout.

Great food with quick service. Order and pick is always a pleasure.

We had drunken noodle Spicy Thai stir-fried noodle dish with egg assorted veggies fresh bean sprouts basil leaves and sprinkled with ground roasted peanuts which is like Heavenly really. We also had Pad Thai famous Thai stir-fried noodle dish with egg bean sprouts scallions and sprinkled with ground roasted peanuts. This is the best Thai restaurant in the state of New Hampshire that I have been to and polite possibly even further. I used to go here all the time when I lived in Rochester but now that I live in Sanbornville I'm not in Rochester quite as much anymore but I definitely recommend you stop by and check it out they have a wonderful atmosphere inside to that would make a great date night for couples.

Perfect sized servings - Great flavors - Attentive service. Awesome local experience

I have to say the quality is not as good as before. The shrimps in pad Thai are not fresh enough. The pad Thai is way to sour.

Very good Thai food. Excellent menu/selection. Viet Nam soup was excellent. Small, clean establishment -- worth a visit.

We wanted to try something other than the Chinese restaurants, and were pleasantly surprised. The dining area was clean and comfortable with plenty of room. The service and food were very good. The portions were almost too much, but it was so good, I didn't have any to bring any home. The only thing I would recommend as not being familiar withThai food is I wish they had pictures of the different dishes in the menu.

Papaya Thai is located on North Main Street on the perimeter of downtown Rochester. We have driven by it many times but three of us finally decided to try it; so we stopped here for lunch the other day & it was WONDERFUL! The place is deceiving. It's a 'house', painted blue with wild flowers growing in the front. We entered the restaurant to a room that was clean, brightly colored, and cheerful. It was noon on a Monday and it was not busy; so our waitress (also the owner) was very accommodating and answered all of our questions. Our experience was very good. We shared a pot of jasmine tea...very nice! ... with appetizers of crab rangoon and spring rolls (which were wrapped in rice paper & filled with fresh veggies), both of which were DELICIOUS! We also ordered pad thai (yummy), a lo mein dish which was very good and chicken mango, which one of the women especially liked, but I was a bit disappointed in. Will recommend Papaya Thai to others & go back again soon with husbands. Also, there's free parking in a lot across from the restaurant and can sometimes be found on the street, too.

Had eaten there several times before and it was okay. Today I ordered a chicken dish. Chicken was dry and disguisting. Sent most of meal back. Was never asked why I didn't finish my meal or why I didn't want to take leftovers home. Plus waitress was rude.

Surprisingly tasty Thai food. Stopped in and grabbed some takeout while passing through Rochester on a Saturday afternoon. Great location with a public parking lot right across the street. The space itself was nice and bright with fun decor. I will certainly consider dining in next time. Vegetarian egg rolls were yummy, satisfying and not too greasy. My green curry with tofu had a nice amount of spice. The sauce was thicker than I am used to but the dish had a home cooked flare to it that couldn't be denied. My rice was a little more on the chewy side than I am used to but all things considered I would return for sure.
