One of our favorite local places. Always great food and good service. The weekly specials are always good. Nice atmosphere. Great place to enjoy a cold drink and they often have live music in the evening.

Bar tender is excellent because she has been there with the previous owner. Makes great drinks and friendly. The 1 star is for the pompous owner, whom made himself known he is not just a manager, but the owner. He could not accept constructive criticism. We informed him that the pipe on the floor extended beyond the bar, and my friend banged his toes against it bad. No sympathy, no apology, but an arrogant answer that it is standing area and no one bumps into it. ( the staff whispered that people complained about it, and that he does not care). Then he made it a point that I complained about something else?! I informed the bartender that my chicken wings order only came with 2 flats after I was told 4 and 4. She quickly requested new flats for me. If being honest is complaining, then this owner needs to hire a manager since he has no clue how manage or deal with people. We would never go back. Words spread fast fyi owner.

First time here and we were not disappointed.Grest breakfast selection and very good breakfast cocktails.The prices are very reasonable and the portion are great.Food is very tasty and certainly not lacking flavor Our server Autumn was great.She was pleasant attentive and had great sense of humor.Now we have to try the pub fare Definitely recommend

We got Porter’s for the first time via DoorDash and it was so good!
We highly recommend the 3 meatball appetizer and the grilled chicken with an herbed cream sauce. It was phenomenal. We have found our newest weekly spot!

We used to come all the time, then it changed hands and it was closed on my day off… it has been gifted with the best people yet. Food is amazing. Chefs come out with pride to present… homemade soups, exceptional ( and giant) chicken fingers, many fresh vegetable sides, inventive salads and a great variety on menu ( ribs, wraps, pasta, burgers,- everything- you can go dirty or clean)… for everyone. The staff is super friendly, patrons awesome… great ( GREAT ) drinks. We are so happy this place has the right owners. Here every week.

Best prime rib steak bomb I’ve ever had! 10/10 recommend!
One of the best places I’ve tried for pub food and comfort food. The beer cheese with the soft pretzel is so good they give you tortilla chips for the extra cheese. The fried chicken sandwich is perfection. It’s obvious the kitchen takes a lot of pride in what they do. The result is as good as any bar food I’ve had in Dover or Portsmouth! Fast service even when it’s packed. Well done.
