Enjoyed an excellent lamb vindaloo and they were able to create a medium version that was perfectly spiced and just the right level of heat for me. Came with a side of rice that helped temper the heat and we ordered a side of naan bread that was great for dipping in the sauce. Definitely going to go back there. Happy to find a place relatively close to home. It was a great meal for a reasonable price.

Kashmir for anyone looking for good, meaningful food is the spot!
It’s arguably the best Indian food restaurant in all of Massachusetts/NH.
It’s a family owned home made place that in my opinion keeps you coming back for more.
Would suggest to anyone and any party size!

Kashmir is our favorite restaurant in Salem, and our favorite Indian restaurant of anywhere we've tried. Most recently, we ordered takeout for three adults, and got enough outrageously good Indian food for about $105, including tip, that it fed each of us three separate meals.
As vegetarians, it's great to have a place so nearby with a generous selection of entrees for us to try. My life would be happier if I could have one of their samosas every day, and whenever we order, we make sure to order extra onion chutney so we can enjoy it throughout the week on eggs and other meals.

Food is average, service is terrible, atmosphere is noisy. Better off at McDonalds.

Always delicious. The buffet on Friday, Saturday and Sunday is a great way to experience multiple options.

After waiting an hour above the estimated food delivery time, we were ready to give up.
As the food did not taste like 5 star Michelin restaurant food x Russian caviar and French champagne, it could not compensate for the wait.
It is disrespectful for the Dasher spending their evening waiting at one place.

I ordered food from DoorDash. I don’t received it and some miscommunication order got cancelled. Thought I order again I must say food was excellent and totally worth it. Although I am giving 5 stars miscommunication should be corrected.

The service was extremely poor and the food lacked flavor. The chicken kebabs were good but not so good that I’d come back. The men seemed uninterested in waiting on anyone in the place.

There’s a reason Kashmir has been on 28 in Salem for like, forever. THEIR FOOD IS SO GOOD.
The food came out piping hot to our table, and it was delicious. The makhni butter chicken is great, and so are their samosas. The service provided here was phenomenal. Khem was making sure everyone was attended to, and provided excellent customer service. There was another wonderful server there who they fondly call “Auntie” Kaur who would come check on us and refill waters. She really gives awesome service with a smile and made it a lovely experience.
The lighting was so cozy and intimate.
We will be back, without a doubt! :)

Unfortunately the food didn't taste authentic indian. We ordered veg appetizer platter and kadai paneer. It was missing traditional flavors. Average service.

My friend and I have been eating Indian food here since we were teenagers in the 1990s! Its truly the best taste and quality! They even flavor their rice!! I keep trying to eat Indian food at other places but nothing ever compares to my home which has always been Kashmir! We both got Vegetable samosas. I got Aloo Nan with Chicken Korma Medium. My friend got a Garlic nan with Chicken Vindaloo Extra hot!
