Ordered d7 for delivery. Received something totally different. Not happy at all

Messes up order constantly. Blames you and hangs upon phone. Call back and they yell at you and hang up phone. Tried them again after not ordering for a long time and messed up order and nearly 2 hours to deliver order.
Update: It's now under new management, and gave it a go. Food is worse than it used to be. I can't speak for service or anything else.

I have been a true customer to Mei hoo for many years. I just visited them Friday under the new management.
Unfortunately I was very disappointed.
The gentleman that took my order was very kind and friendly.
The food was not good at all.
The rice was dry and without flavor.
The boneless spare ribs were undercooked, like chewing a peice of rubber, and didn't have the flavor od boneless spare ribs. The teriyaki sticks, were actually raw in some thicker spots and the chicken fingers were saturated with oil, like the oil wasn't hot enough.
I had one small helping and threw the rest away. I had a very upset stomach the rest of the day.
Not sure if I will return.
Makes me sad. Always loved their food.

This was hands down one of the best delivery experiences I’ve ever had. Not only was the food absolutely delicious — fresh, hot, and full of flavor — but the customer service was truly exceptional.
I ordered two entrées, white rice, and fried wontons without the filling. The owner actually called me immediately to let me know my meals already came with rice, refunded me for what I didn’t need, and even comped the fried wontons since they normally come free with soup. He easily could have just taken my money, but instead he went out of his way to be honest and kind.
That level of integrity is so rare, and it genuinely meant a lot. On top of that, everything tasted amazing and the portions were generous.
Wonderful food, wonderful people — I’ll absolutely be ordering again. Highly recommend!

*Under new management*
The inside is mostly the same but it seems some of their menued items have changed a bit. The vegetable mei foon now uses those fat rice noodles rather than the long skinny ones. They accurately produced my order as requested as well. It was all pritty good.
The new staff was friendly. I have high hopes this place will inproove with the new staff as the prior staff had problems with order accuracy and some staff memebers who could come off as a bit abraisive.
Deffinatly worth a look if you have a craving for some yummy chinese food, i will definatly be comeing back to see how things change, especally that singapore meifoon dish.

Ordered for New Years Eve and called a couple of days before.When I got there last night the takeout restaurant was slammed but the staff and manager did an excellent job getting the food out to customers. Food was awesome.

Service is absolutely horrible. I arrived at 6:12 for a 6:00 pickup that was placed at 10 in the morning, and it was not ready. When i walked in the place was packed. I proceeded to wait OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF for my food. absolutely ridiculous. will not be coming here again.
Placed a small online order on New Years Eve at 9:49 AM for a 6:00pm pickup knowing it would likely get busy. Arrived at 6:00, place was packed, food was not ready. Waited over an hour and a half while people that ordered later than me and arrived after me walked out with their food. Gave the same excuse that they “were behind”. I ordered 8 hours ahead and you’re “behind”?! HORRIBLE SERVICE!

I had a very short wait for food prep and before I knew it the food was served to me to my table. It was totally unexpected because the place looked like it was more of a take-out business.
Yes, food has changed some with the new ownership but I believe that it is now better prepared.

I heard there was an ownership change recently. We’ve ordered from Mei Hoo over years and was worried about some of the social media reviews lately after the ownership change. We did a delivery order and everything was just as good as usual. It arrived promptly and the driver was very nice. The food quality was as expected for traditional Chinese favorites. I appreciate they still offer some items in both small and large boxes where many Chinese restaurants have switched to large only and jacked their prices.

Gave this place a 6 month break due to bad food. Tried it again tonight and its somehow worse. The rice is majorly soggy and over cooked with no flavor. The dumplings are even worse.

We wasn't aware that MeiHoo was under new ownership. We called to order and to have delivered and was told said they didn't deliver to our address and I let the lady know that I've been ordering from the restaurant for years so they do deliver to our address again I wasn't aware that it was under new ownership. I ordered our food and I ask her for additional hot sauce or hot mustard as well. For two people with a pupu platter for two and a small order of peking raviolis was $56 which is okay but when I looked at receipt she also charged me for two more sweet and sour sauces which I did not order and also ordered additional hot mustard, I guess it's homemade mustard sauce now which isn't to bad. Yes charged for that as well. The color is orange of the homemade sauce. I have to say not sure if I will order for them again but I do have to say I will probably give them another chance
