It's unfortunate but I will be taking my hard-earned money elsewhere when it comes to my bakery needs. This was the 3rd cake I have ordered from @Sugar&SpiceBakeShoppe and it will be my last. The owner/baker whomever "he" is was so incredibly rude to me over the phone it was appalling unnecessary, unprofessional and all the reviews that came before mine all resonated with me, and I can confirm that this guy is a complete jerk who apparently lacks customer service skills or even common courtesy as an "owner" in that establishment. Not from my wallet, never again there are plenty of bake shops that will happily make my cakes each year and it won't be this guy. Save your aggravation.

A friend of mine invited me to this shop as I am big on desserts (and picky!) and boy was I surprised. Their pistachio cake is to die for. As a boston native, I’ve yet to find a bakery that can execute as well as they have on this cake and others.If you know what a quality dessert is, you will very much appreciate this bakery. Not everything was to my taste buds (for example, the Oreo mousse cake I did not like), but the unique flavors you don’t find in other shops are exceptional! Will definitely be ordering for parties!
It was wonderful meeting the creator of all things yummy yesterday - thank you Brian for sharing your passion for what you do! It is obvious that lots of love and wonderful energy goes into your delightful desserts. We WILL come back because not only does everything you make look pretty but because they taste DIVINE! Ordered a cake for our daughters 11th birthday. We cut into the cake & it was the wrong flavor.I called Sugar & Spice, asked to confirm what the order slip had written, which was indeed the flavor (vanilla) we ordered and paid for, but someone made a chocolate cake, not vanilla.I have frequented sugar & spice and purchased dozens of cupcakes and assorted desserts for parties.I asked to speak to the owner but my call was not returned. Unfortunately, there is no accountability from the owner and customer service is severely lacking.

Delicious cake and wonderful, friendly service. Note that website won’t allow you to fill out an online order form but they rarely answer the phone or return voicemails for cake orders. You’ll have to go in person!

We ordered a German chocolate cake for my birthday this year and it was SO delicious, moist, fresh, flavorful, and tastefully decorated, we were just so happy with it, I almost called to thank the shoppe but thought a nice review would be more useful! We've ordered a few cakes from Sugar & Spice over the years and are always very happy. They are well worth the price. Thank you for another delicious birthday cake!
