Made plans with friends to meet up for brunch. Our friends don’t live close by, so we don’t get to see each that often. My husband and I arrived first, right at 9 a.m., with our son, hoping to get a table early for our larger party. There were plenty of open tables. I’ve even been to this location before with a group of 20+ and we were easily accommodated. However, this time the hostess refused to seat us until everyone was physically inside, even when our friends texted that they were pulling in. I pointed out open setups that could fit us, like a four-top beside a two-top, but she declined and seated another group there. The host/manager told me not to worry and that seating eight wouldn’t be a problem. When everyone arrived minutes later, he offered only two back-to-back booths. I asked about nearby tables, but he said they can’t push tables together on weekends. Since that didn’t work for us, we had to wait. Eventually, we were crammed into one booth. seven people plus a baby in a high chair. I spent breakfast half off the seat. The food was fine, but the experience was frustrating, especially when we saw the same man later pushing those very same tables together for another large party. Overall, it left us extremely disappointed with The Friendly Toast.
Highly recommend you check out this place! The staff is amazing, food was delicious delivered in a timely manner and hot. Drinks are yummy also

What a fun place to go and get a great meal, either breakfast or lunch, and some amazing drinks! Nice option when ordering the flight of drinks. So much to see in the decor inside the restaurant. Can't wait to go back for another experience!

the food was fine, the service was very good. however, I am offering one star due to the COST.
$7.50 for a coffee with milk (known in some circles as a latte).

I visited the new Friendly Toast location in Salem, NH for the first time today and booked a 12pm reservation. When I arrived, I checked in and was told it would be a few minutes before being seated. The restaurant was busy, and while waiting I noticed the entryway became very crowded as guests stood inside. It might be helpful if benches were added outside--especially on a beautiful day like today--as it would create a better flow of traffic and make it easier for the staff to move around.
Once seated, my friend and I had Chris as our server, who was very kind, professional, and attentive throughout our meal.

We had visited the original location in Portsmouth and we're going to be near Salem so we went for a visit to this new location though it lacks the absolute craziness of the original location the staff was incredibly friendly in the food was really delicious we love this as a New Hampshire chain

This location is smaller than other locations but located in the heart of tuscan village. Service and food are just as satisfying but I find the space to be a bit smaller and therefore louder and harder to larger groups to enjoy. We enjoyed a few mimosa flights and a coffee flight - very tasty and creative.
