It’s in an older shopping center and doesn’t look like much from the outside. But the moment you step inside, it is beautiful. It was packed so I sat at the bar and the bartender (Craig) took excellent care of me. I ordered the Jerry Jumbo and a glass of red wine. The food was AMAZING (OMG the spicy pink sauce is incredible), the atmosphere is awesome, alcohol selection is fantastic. If I lived here I’d eat here all the time, unfortunately I’m only in town for work.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
By far the best Italian restaurant in New Hampshire — and honestly, the only place outside of Boston’s North End that truly compares!
Amalfie’s in Salem, NH is on another level. Every dish tastes like it was made with genuine passion — from the homemade pastas and rich sauces to the perfectly cooked entrees. The portions are generous, the service is always warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a family-run spot in Italy.
Whether you’re from the area or driving up from Massachusetts, it’s absolutely worth the trip. No exaggeration — Amalfie’s could hold its own with some of the best spots in the North End.

Great service and the food was amazing food. Very friendly staff.
If you’re anywhere near Salem, New Hampshire, Trattoria Amalfi is a must-visit. The food here is truly unforgettable—some of the best I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, everything was smooth and welcoming. We were seated immediately, served water and delicious complimentary bread, and made to feel right at home.
Our server, Lauren, was amazing—super friendly, attentive, and helpful with recommendations. Our meals came out quickly (in about 10 minutes), and they were absolutely delicious. Every bite was bursting with flavor and clearly made with care.
Whether you're local or just passing through, do yourself a favor and check this place out. The combination of outstanding food, warm service, and cozy atmosphere makes Trattoria Amalfi a restaurant worth going out of your way for.
Great service, food was very good as well
Got the Seafood Amalfi- clams, scallops, and shrimp over linguine.. it was great!!
One of my favorite places to go. Be sure to say hello to Craig at the bar. He makes amazing drinks and treats his customers at the bar like VIP's.
Love this place.

Easily the best Italian restaurant in Salem NH. I have never had a bad meal there and their portions are great, always enough left over for lunch the next day.
Well worth the money in this family owned and operated restaurant.

I ordered the linguine with white clam sauce and it was delicious. However I did wait about an hour for the food to arrive at my table. Would recommend and would go again.

Don’t know about food , service due to needing reservations .
Unpretentious in a strip mall with best Italian food this side of North End Boston, or maybe this side of Italy as many North End Boston restaurants have gone downhill!! Excellent quality, plentiful, reasonably priced, and each plate ALWAYS arrives STEAMING hot!

Cozy Italian spot where you feel your on the shores of Italy. Very comfortable and casual atmosphere with generous portions and great service. Try the Samantha Special if they have it when you visit.

Meh, food was OK, Bartender was great! Stuffed mushrooms were mealy and dry, maybe some sort of a white sauce or something might have helped. Calamari was ok, would have liked some Blue Cheese or Ranch dressing to dip in, the tomato sauce (marinara)served with it was boring. So apparently only Italian dressing is served with salads???
