Very sad and disappointed in my experience here at Tuscan tonight. I came with my family to celebrate my birthday and as it’s a Monday night, the restaurant was pretty slow. When we first came in the host tried to seat us at a smaller table, when I asked for a bigger table (one with a booth) she told me (oh that table is only for our VIP guests, my manager won’t let me sit you there)…. There was about 30 open tables that could’ve been sat so I found it odd we couldn’t sit there. The whole time from 7pm to 9pm when we were done and the restaurant cleared out not once did anyone sit there. There were also 4 other open booth like tables just as the one I asked to sit at.
Next, I had ordered a drink and the server never brought it but I just left it as is, then when our meals came I asked for my steak medium well, when it came out it was very rare so I jokingly said “Can you just throw it on the grill for a couple more minutes”. My original steak came back CHARRED… they then added another butter on top of it so I was eating charred butter at this point but I assumed since they didn’t give me a brand new piece it would be taken off the bill so i just let it be. It was never taken off the bill.
The icing on the cake (literally) when desert came out was there was a black hair in the cake.
I was very very disappointed with the service here tonight as well as the food. I wonder what you have to do to get part of the “VIP” club there…

A very nice venue in Salem, NH, Tuscan Village. Great selection on the menu, and our meals were well done, except for an overly done steak. Yes we could have had it re-fired, BUT the only downside is the EXCEPTIONALLY SLOW service. Maybe due to short staffing, as our waiter had twelve tables to serve? Extreme wait times between ordering then being served, apps and then dinner, 25 to 30 minutes between each is a bit LONG.

Food was great. I consider it non traditional, but excellent. Server was gracious and attentive. Attractive interior open concept. All restaurants today are noisy with sound bouncing around. But must expect that everywhere.

Felt like a good and refined atmosphere without feeling like I should wear a suit. The food was overall good but very small portions (at least for the ragu [or was it a Bolognese?]), so be prepared to order a side salad or appetizer. The ragi wasn't quite to my liking, but it probably might be to others. Everyone else in my group seemed to like their food a lotm

Typically this place is great, but my fiance and I went there today for our 1:30 reservation and left 20 minutes later after no service. We also cancelled our reservation 3 weeks from now for 15 people. Very disappointed. Will not be back to this location.

Food was good but pricey. It took an hour for the food to come out, seems like the kitchen is inefficient. Service was decent. Management was mediocre. Overall experience was underwhelming. Not a place I would come running back to.
