We had dinner on a Thursday night in the patio. There was a lot going on. The outside area was crowded with a corn hole tournament so I am not sure if that's the reason there was an acoustic duo performing in the patio. The duo was so loud that you couldn't enjoy any conversation and the duo sounded horrible. We ordered hummus for an app and had to return it because it was so bland. I had the shrimp scampi entree which was delicious. My bf had capellini with a meatball which was a disappointment. The pasta was clumpy and meatball was dry. We thought of returning it but felt too embarrassed to do so since we had already given back the hummus. I've eaten here before and thought the food was ok . Oh well
We were welcomed and seated promptly upon arrival . The hostess was very pleasant. We were soon greeted by our waitress, Bridget and ordered beverages. My wife said the Sangria was one of the best she had ever had! We ordered appetizers and salad which arrived quickly. I ordered a prosciutto appetizer on fried dough with fig jam which was spectacular. From beginning to end the meal and service was excellent!
We had a wonderful dining experience at the Salem, New Hampshire location. We have friends visiting from England and we took them to the Market for lunch to celebrate two milestone birthdays. My family and I arrived a few minutes earlier than the reservation; Katie at the hostess desk was so kind and helped me figure out a dessert board to surprise the 80 and 90 year old birthday guests. She explained many options, and they were delightfully surprised by the presentation! But the biggest kudos goes to our waitress, Meredith, for her patience and thoroughness during the dining experience. She listened to all of our questions and was accommodating to our needs. She got busier as tables filled up but we never felt like she forgot about us because she was very attentive. The restaurant has a great ambiance and a really nice brunch menu on the weekends. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive north from the Boston area.
We have dined here several times and unfortunately this time was not up to what we are use to. we were brought the wrong food it was cold and sever was hesitate to replace. Had to ask several times for condiments.
The pasta dishes the guys had were excellent shrimp scampi and bolognese.pasta was so fresh too. Ladies got paninis and piazza- so filling and tasty!! No room for dessert 😁
We waited a long time for our brunch food and then half of the orders didn't have their toast.
Service was very poor. The waitress never checked on us to refill our waters or drinks and we waited over an hour for food. When the food came is was very sloppy presentation. Overcooked and poor taste.
Third time trying this place, it has the potential to be terrific but the management of the restaurant needs attention, servers confused, all over the dining area, waited 20 min for water and attention and this was with a reservation, waited another 20 for our drinks. Pizza was mid, salad was terrific. Server was nice but clearly in the weeds and it was not crowded- a Tuesday. Such a bummer.
The food was great as usual! Serving bread with oil before the meal is my favorite part. Always a good vibe and service too.
We always enjoy Tuscan market and Restaurant. The menu was a perfect variety for everyone.

I found the hostess to be extremely rude . We were sat a table and then subsequently moved two more times. While she offered no explanation initially , as we moved all of our belongs ,as well as our water glasses and silverware at her request , our waitress stood there like a deer in the head light. When we were moved for the third and final time she had pulled two tables together only her to ask us to stand to separate the tables . It was 40 mins before we finally landed at our seats. I asked our waitress what was the issue. She explained they had a two piece jazz band. . Well ... as much as I would have enjoyed it my son in law who was seated at the head of the table had the saxophone blowing right in his ear. We took it upon ourselves to move the table away from the musical instruments. By this time we wanted to eat and leave. We could not enjoy our Easter brunch at all. I have traveled all over the globe and have never met a more rude hostess. As I love relatively close I come to the market often. Not any more. Tuscan Market .....DO BETTER!!!'
Very long wait for our food. On a Saturday night, when the weather is nice, the kitchen gets overwhelmed. Also, I asked for no onions on my salad. When it finally arrived, it was loaded with onions.
Do NOT leave here without trying the arancini. My favorite is the bolognese. Steak tips, chicken piccata and chicken parm damn good too. Awesome market with delicious pastries to go.
We had a wonderful time during our recent visit! The food and drinks were absolutely delicious, and the selection of desserts and Italian wines was top-notch. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we couldn't be happier with the experience. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable time. We will definitely be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great food, drinks, and a fantastic atmosphere!
My wife and I have been going to Tuscan since they opened almost 15 years ago...was always a great experience and awesome food. Something has gone downhill at the Market in Salem. Tonight we waited nearly 35 minutes for the entrees and the bread was late and not up to their standards. Not sure who is running the Market, but something needs to get it back to the Tuscan standard. My wife is a creature of habit and always gets the bolognese, she remarked tonight that it was the worst she has had there. Sad, hope the manager can bring the Tuscan standards back. Service was great, she wanted to fix it, but we didn't have time as we were headed to a show and we had already waited 35 minutes for the entrees, no appetizers.
