We ate at the Tuscan Market 4 out of the 5 nights we stayed at The Artisan. We absolutely love the atmosphere, food, the fresh baked bread, and all of the Italian desserts. We look forward to eating here every trip.
We had dinner on a Thursday night in the patio. There was a lot going on. The outside area was crowded with a corn hole tournament so I am not sure if that's the reason there was an acoustic duo performing in the patio. The duo was so loud that you couldn't enjoy any conversation and the duo sounded horrible. We ordered hummus for an app and had to return it because it was so bland. I had the shrimp scampi entree which was delicious. My bf had capellini with a meatball which was a disappointment. The pasta was clumpy and meatball was dry. We thought of returning it but felt too embarrassed to do so since we had already given back the hummus. I've eaten here before and thought the food was ok . Oh well
We were welcomed and seated promptly upon arrival . The hostess was very pleasant. We were soon greeted by our waitress, Bridget and ordered beverages. My wife said the Sangria was one of the best she had ever had! We ordered appetizers and salad which arrived quickly. I ordered a prosciutto appetizer on fried dough with fig jam which was spectacular. From beginning to end the meal and service was excellent!
We had a wonderful dining experience at the Salem, New Hampshire location. We have friends visiting from England and we took them to the Market for lunch to celebrate two milestone birthdays. My family and I arrived a few minutes earlier than the reservation; Katie at the hostess desk was so kind and helped me figure out a dessert board to surprise the 80 and 90 year old birthday guests. She explained many options, and they were delightfully surprised by the presentation! But the biggest kudos goes to our waitress, Meredith, for her patience and thoroughness during the dining experience. She listened to all of our questions and was accommodating to our needs. She got busier as tables filled up but we never felt like she forgot about us because she was very attentive. The restaurant has a great ambiance and a really nice brunch menu on the weekends. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive north from the Boston area.
We have dined here several times and unfortunately this time was not up to what we are use to. we were brought the wrong food it was cold and sever was hesitate to replace. Had to ask several times for condiments.
The pasta dishes the guys had were excellent shrimp scampi and bolognese.pasta was so fresh too. Ladies got paninis and piazza- so filling and tasty!! No room for dessert 😁
It’s food and it’s edible. It’s really nothing special. The owner should really look into how this place is run. It was so different when it first opened. Even quality has come down. Possibly too many untrained teenagers working and food prepping. It’s overpriced and not very affordable for the quantity and quality of food.
Went to dinner today with another couple food was great service not so good
Lol this place is bad and unprofessional. Try to apply for jobs and they don't even look at your application before "not selecting"
It’s just gotten too busy here and the in / out traffic is a nightmare!

I went there for New Year’s Eve and was met with hostile customer service. This place normally can never go wrong, the atmosphere is so amazing, but this really shook me up. When I approached the packed bar, I flagged down the female bartender, who curtly informed me I needed to join a line with others waiting for drinks. While I waited, I noticed a seat open up at the bar in her section and decided to sit there. Despite being seated, it became clear she was ignoring me. I then flagged down another bartender, only for him to give me a bizarre excuse, claiming, the seat was someone’s and that they were coming back or something. This was appalling—this is the outdoor bar, where reservations for seats do not exist and seats next to me also started to open up. It was very clear he was stalling or trying to get rid of me. Quickly once the woman witnesses this exchange, she makes my drink. I am glad she came to her senses and stepped in before he made the mistake of discriminating me for no reason. For management’s reference, this occurred at the outdoor bar, on the side facing the public restroom, just before midnight. I regret not catching their names, but I hope this feedback helps ensure no one else is treated this way in the future.
Overrated. Expensive. Very similar to the Lynnfield Marketplace.
Excellent
Very interesting shopping area, with restaurants, outdoor sitting area. There have live music in the summer, Christmas outdoor shopping in the winter.
Lots of good stores. The roads are a little tricky, so plan some time to get around the intersections.
