Had previously gone to the "shack" at the farm for ice cream. This time around, GPS brought us to a cute store since they closed the shack on the farm. It's still going by the honor system and they offer more payments options like Venmo. Although my fiancé absolutely loves this ice cream, it was just OK for me.

Delicious ice cream, definitely worth a stop. The store also offers drinks and snacks, everything is selve serve, you can take what you want and leave cash/check or use Venmo.

LOVE Sandwich Creamery! This is a new location for them this year (2023). I was confused when our navigation system brought us here, but it had the same old wooden sign that used to hang at the previous location, the lights were on, and there was a neon open sign. It used to be on a long, bumpy, dirt road in the middle of nowhere, but they moved to a very nice corner store front on a paved road much closer to Sandwich. It's about 3.6 miles up the road from the Corner House Inn.The ice cream is delicious, and they have a great variety of flavors. My favorite is the lemon squeeze. My son loves the grasshopper pie. We also like the black raspberry and coffee kisses. It was very well stocked tonight with half pints, pints, and quarts of lemon squeeze, chocolate chip, cinnamon chocolate & espresso, black bear, oreo, black raspberry chocolate chip, cookie dough, peppermint stick, strawberry, mint chocolate chip, peach, ginger, coffee kisses, cow tracks, dirt road, s'mores, chocolate, and grasshopper pie. This is a self-serve and pay on the honor system place. Another big improvement from last year is: now they take Venmo! It used to be only cash or checks.

Sandwich Creamery is an adorable hidden gem! When you arrive you will be greeted by a self-serve ice cream freezer and a unique honor system for payment where you can pay with cash or Venmo. The rich and creamy ice cream is beyond compare, giving you a delightful treat with every scoop. In addition to the unique system and wonderful ice cream, my 18-month-old had a blast playing in their little kids' section, making it a perfect family-friendly outing. Five stars without a doubt - a must-visit for anyone seeking a wholesome and unforgettable rustic New Hampshire ice cream adventure!

Delicious local ice creamery. Accepts Venmo. Try the classic ice cream sandwich (chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream)

I should have written this a long time ago, before Sandwich Creamery was forced to move. What a neat little place out in the middle of nowhere! Delicious ice cream and so many flavors. Really wonderful cheeses, as well. This was a great place to bring our out of town and city friends. They swooned over the quality of the ice cream and could not believe the idyllic location and honor jar method of payment. And then good for the owners that they found a different place for their wares in Center Sandwich. I wish them all the best as they’ve contributed much joy to these Pennsylvania transplants to NH.

I'm not sure if this is true or not, but I was told that they have closed down possibly due to neighboring property owners having issues with the steady flow of traffic. I hope someone can clear this up.UPDATE:I just saw another post that confirms what I wrote. They are closed. I do hope that the owners make a post on the main page stating this! I also hope they will post locations where their products can be found. I'm pretty sure that Moulton Farm in Meredith does, but not positive.

It was closed after a very long, but scenic ride. This was in May! We'll never go there again, but had happy memories of eating ice cream in the yard. Too bad. Another 'institution' gone....

Cute ice cream shop that sells ice cream in small personal containers. Only 4 stars because some of the flavors don't have a description and no chocolate in the almond joy flavor. Very creamy though!
