There are two teams at best bagel as of late: the A team and the B team.
A team is the classic team, the so called ‘old timers’. They are why there are 4-5 star reviews of this place. Make good food in timely manner.
B team is new. Understandably they need some time to get used to running things…but it’s been 2 months and they still don’t got it. Slow service, incorrect orders, etc. I feel bad cause they are obviously overwhelmed and stressed out, she I blame the training/lack of support from whom runs this establishment.
Tho the B team does make thicker smoothies which I like so some silver linings.
Overall, your experience will depend who you get, the A or B team.

Used to be a big fan and would stop every time I came from MA. Once I got a lox bagel with no lox at all. I assumed it was a mistake and let it go. Then I got a veggie bagel with pickles and banana peppers and cream cheese. Not at all as described in the menu, with labne, olive oil and definitely no pickles or peppers. Who wants pickles in their bagel? Sad the quality has declined so much.

Seabrook. The good: the bagels truly are some of the best around and I love the variety of spreads. The bad: your version of the Fluffy Seagull is straight up disgusting to the point of not being drinkable. There cannot be more than 2 oz of coffee in it and the rest of the cup is solid fluff. You cannot even shake it up, it's that thick. I can't even imagine the sugar content (and I like sweet). And on a final note: TRANSPARENCY. Best Bagel needs to get its act together with pricing and conveying it to the customer. The prices on the menu NEVER seem to be the current prices and when they give you your receipt, it's a generic one with no prices listed whatsoever. It would have been nice to know my bagel with cream cheese and medium coffee were going to be just shy of $14!

Best Bagel Used to be one of my favorite bagel spots to go. Their bagels used to be so big and fluffy and now it seems the last couple of times we’ve gone, their bagels are dense and doughy. So disappointed! Seems like they’ve changed recipe. Time to find a new bagel place

What a joke. We ordered three bagels from “Best” Bagel in Georgetown — should’ve been a simple task. Got home and every single one was wrong. Not one. Not two. All three. Total incompetence. It’s honestly impressive how badly they screwed up such a basic order. Either no one there can read a ticket, or they just don’t care. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration — this place is a disaster. “Best” bagel?
They have the best bagels in town, and the best cream cheese ever! However due to small staff, you must not be in a rush , otherwise you may not get your order in!!!

It's bittersweet because the food is great and almost everyone that works there is polite except for the girl that wears the headphones in the pink sweatshirt at the Middleton place. she always has an attitude. she always has a look on her face like I shouldn't be here and I'm better than everybody. never says please never says thank you never responds to you when you say thank you. I will no longer go to this place this has been multiple visits that the lady has been totally unfriendly and I think it makes everyone in the room at that time very uncomfortable. 12.20.24 7:23 AM.
