Not Castaways any more. It changed owners and is call ERNIE'S . Has mostly seafood. On the noisy side but food was good. Nice outside seating area..was not open when we were there due to weather. Has a firepit and Deck bar. Awesome views.
Located right near Hampton Beach and in a beautiful location on the harbor, this restaurant is large and really should be bustling but on the night we went, it was empty. On a Tuesday night in late August, there was only one party inside the restaurant and we were the 2nd party seated outside on the deck. My son and I stopped by for dinner, having spent the day at Salisbury Beach. Parking is an issue at the restaurant, as there are limited spaces. The service is excellent. Very quick and attentive. The atmosphere is fantastic, with great views of the water. The food is extraordinary, and I cannot stress how perfect it was prepared. I ordered the Fisherman’s platter, and I honestly cannot remember when the food was this fresh. Outstanding dinner experience!
