While I was there, I had the most bomb chicken in the world. Now you might be thinking chicken, at a lobster pool, don't worry we also had lobster and steamers. Sometimes it’s the unexpected that’s the most surprising. The lobster was tender, perfectly prepared, and can you best twin lobsters for $35? I don’t think so. The steamers were not too chewy, perfectly briny, and yummy in my tummy. But back to the chicken, it had an amazing crunch that you can’t find anywhere else, the chicken was perfectly top with my choice of condiment, ketchup. Along with amazing food, the atmosphere was wonderful, had a spectacular view, the portions were huge, and the staff was lovely. If you are looking for a place with amazing seafood, and American cuisine perfect for the whole family, Markey’s Lobster Pool is the place to go!

Delicious, well-prepared lobster and crispy, tender chicken tenders at a nice location with a seating area over the water. This place has that vibe of a fresh seafood joint that’s been around for a while. Some parts of the place could use a little renovation, and the restrooms could use a once-over, but that aside I definitely enjoyed eating here.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We are on vacation in Salisbury every year; last year we decided to try Marky’s. It was my first time there, and I got the scallop and shrimp plate. We drove back to our beach house (3 minutes), and when I went to eat my scallops they were absolutely disgusting. The breading was soggy, and the scallops were rubbery. I went back, and was treated insanely poorly by the worker when I explained the situation. I ended up just getting a partial refund instead of a new batch. Decided to give it another chance this year, and same thing. Breading was soggy and downright gross for the scallops AND clams. We spent about $75 for our dinner, and not one thing was appealing. If you are debating going here, I would suggest taking the longer drive and going to Bobs Lobster.
