This place is fantastic. Amazing food, generous portions, and friendly/attentive servers. Definitely give it a try!
The burrata salad was delicious. Loved the homemade pastas and the warm bread. The tiramisu and cannoli desserts were yummy.
Our server, Sienna was very nice. We were fortunate to be able to chat with the chef on the way out to tell her how much we enjoyed our dinner. This place is a hidden gem.
The Rail at La Stazione in Somersworth is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. There were four of us dining, and every single person savored every bite. One of us doesn’t even like tomatoes—and they absolutely loved the bruschetta. That’s how good the food is.
From start to finish, the service was top notch—warm, attentive, and perfectly timed. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with only 10 tables, making it feel like a special, tucked-away find.
Every dish was a standout, clearly made with passion and precision. The dessert was to die for—a perfect ending to a perfect meal. It’s no surprise this spot earned a 2025 Diners’ Choice Award.
Reservations are easy to make online, and parking was simple. If you’re anywhere near Somersworth, don’t miss this gem. We’ll absolutely be back to this hidden gem.
The bruschetta was the best I have ever had. Service was outstanding and always on time. I love chicken parmesan and have a hard time NOT ordering when on the menu at an Italian restaurant... the chicken parm did not disappoint and was as good or the best I have ever had. My wife had the halibut and the couple we were with had steak tips and the bolognese dish - all raved about their meal. The dessert was also outstanding. Parking was easy, the restaurant was clean and spacious. The food rivals any of the best boston North End restaurants. We will return often. Try the Rail at LA Stazione, there us no way you will be disappointed.
This is the best Italian food I’ve gotten outside of Italy. Absolutely delicious!
We had always wanted to give this place a try and we finally did tonight. Great first experience! Atmosphere was nice and relaxing, food was wonderful, and the service was fantastic! Our server Bri was very attentive and friendly. We had our chatty 8 year old with us and sometimes that is met with frustration from servers, but Bri was happy to talk with him and answer any questions he had. We will definitely be back!
Food is always delicious, service is quick and staff is friendly.
INCREDIBLE. We had the steak tips, piccata de pollo, sangria and tiramisu - everything was perfect! We received some oven-warmed bread before our order arrived and it was also amazing. Our waitress was so thoughtful and attentive. The decorations were lovely and very up to date. Can’t find a single thing to criticize! Loved it - awesome date night!!!
Atmosphere is really cool inside. We have only gotten take out from here so that's what this review is based on. We have ordered twice and the first time I thought was good the second was fine. My fiance prefers other places in the area, otherwise we would visit this place more often. The menu is robust thought and I am sure they have some staples on the menu that they do fantastic with. Thanks Team!
I’m a foodie! I took my sister and her husband here for their 50th wedding anniversary dinner early afternoon. Wedge salad was fabulous ! Best I ever had! Pan seared Halibut with roasted veggies and Parmesan Risotto Was perfecto! 14oz rib eye with scallop potatoes and roasted veggies was cooked to perfection. My sister had the Bolognese with garlic bread. We will all go back again!! Haverhill, MA

Found this gem on accident! My husband and I sat at the bar and had dessert and wine. The chocolate cake and ice cream were phenomenal. Paired with a red wine of "Q's" choosing, (Q is a machine of a man, wine connoisseur, all around amazing host) We were able to talk with the owner Joe I believe his name was. It's nice to have a connection to a restaurant owner and not feel like a number walking into an establishment. Both Joe and Q offered for us to try their onion rings.WOW! Ive never had onion rings that the breading wasnt soggy or greasy. Just from the cake, wine, atmosphere and onion rings, we will be back for more! The only bad thing I have to say is that I didn't know this place existed prior! I hope they are able to stick around, because they are serving some of the freshest and yummiest food Ive had in a while around here!

We just had dinner here and it was outstanding. We stopped here on a whim with no knowledge beforehand and the food and service was phenomenal. We had the calamari which was incredible- filled with banana peppers and sea salt fried to perfection. Fresh warm bread brought to the table with an olive oil dip. My partner and I shared the chicken piccata with risotto which really stood out. I would love to see this place filled with people because they truly deserve it.
