Not the nicest location & the decor feels outdated, however, the place is very clean, the service was excellent & friendly, and once my meal was served I didn’t give a hoot about the superficial stuff. I ordered the pasta with meatballs (Rigatoni Con Polpette) - it was Exceptional!! Well served, perfect pasta, delicious meatballs accompanied by a glass of nice red wine... This is my new favorite Italian restaurant.

This place is 2 minutes from my house and I want to love it, but have tried it 3 times and I give up. The service and atmosphere are both great, but the kitchen can't seem to get it right. We've had chicken tenders burnt to a crisp, bread that came out looking more like charcoal and, most recently, a whole order that was fried in rancid oil. It wasn't just an off-night or a little bit funky, it was stale, sour, and probably should have been changed weeks ago. The waitstaff was quick to issue a refund, and even comped a dessert, but they also didn't seem at all surprised by our feedback on the food.

This was phenomenal. They were running a special BOGO on pizzas on Doordash, and we took advantage of that. The dough was wonderful and the sauce was great too. Really impressive. The chocolate cake was fabulous, too. Well-balanced and not too sweet. We will be back in person.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Bri was an amazing server, super nice, attentive and helpful…AND the tiramisu was as good if not better than what I’ve had in Italy. I will definitely be going back again soon for another great experience.

Wow! What a great surprise! Everything was amazing. The homemade pasta al dente, thick and delicious. The sauce was light and fresh, meatballs very moist and tasty. Not overly dense. The roast beef sandwich was delicious, just like we were at a roast beef shop, nicely cooked, tons of meat, the roll was so good, and we upgraded to the onion rings and I'm so happy we did. They were so light and well battered, they don't fall apart the second you bite into it. My husband said they're the best onion rings he's ever had. Friendly service, she poured the water and beers, and even though she was the only one she did a great job covering everything. We were never left waiting for anything. Wonderful dinner experience. We're coming back soon to try the bone in veal chop parmigiana!

Visited this past weekend for appetizers. The wedge salad was fantastic, but the bruschetta was missing cheese and a bit underwhelming. Still, I’d definitely come back for dinner — great atmosphere and friendly staff!

We ordered five large pizzas for a family gathering and couldn’t have asked for a better result. Everyone loved the pizza and each one was perfectly make to order. It’s great to know people still take pride in making amazing pizzas - fresh dough, perfectly spread sauce, and exactly the right amount of toppings. Really nice work.

Overall not impressed, we tried this place because of all the good reviews but left disappointed. The food was just okay, nothing bad, nothing exceptional. The prices were very high for what you get. We were also very off put by the loud music coming from the kitchen, which was competing with the nice music being played over the speakers in the restaurant. Much room for improvement.

The burrata salad was delicious. Loved the homemade pastas and the warm bread. The tiramisu and cannoli desserts were yummy.
Our server, Sienna was very nice. We were fortunate to be able to chat with the chef on the way out to tell her how much we enjoyed our dinner. This place is a hidden gem.

The Rail at La Stazione in Somersworth is hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. There were four of us dining, and every single person savored every bite. One of us doesn’t even like tomatoes—and they absolutely loved the bruschetta. That’s how good the food is.

From start to finish, the service was top notch—warm, attentive, and perfectly timed. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with only 10 tables, making it feel like a special, tucked-away find.

Every dish was a standout, clearly made with passion and precision. The dessert was to die for—a perfect ending to a perfect meal. It’s no surprise this spot earned a 2025 Diners’ Choice Award.

Reservations are easy to make online, and parking was simple. If you’re anywhere near Somersworth, don’t miss this gem. We’ll absolutely be back to this hidden gem.
